My mom very sweetly brought my truck and my dad’s truck, and her own van in here recently, they had a really hard time with working on my truck (tons of rust). She felt real bad for them, gave them an extra $200 in cash because she felt so bad for them having to work through that. She then brought her van back, because when she got it from them she noticed a loose wiring issue. I guess Bryan, the guy working there, took it personal when she suggested maybe it could be a loose wire (she meant no offense but thought maybe it got bumped when they worked on it). He acted like he had never seen her before, took the van in, suggested a $1400 repair. My mom took it to a new guy, who fixed the wire she was talking about for $25. It works perfect now.
I mean I guess they’ll fix your stuff, even stuff they don’t need to fix, and charge you for it, but I wouldn’t go again due to some pride issues and I don’t like people who are mean to my mom for no reason.

Needed to get emissions inspection after work while everyone else stopped doing them at 5pm. Gave them a call if they were available and they were very nice and friendly. Thankfully they were and I showed up 30mins after the call and got it done for $11.50 very quickly. Great customer service and great experience thank you! 10/10 Recommend!

Chelsie's Automotive is one of my favorite local businesses. They perform their work fast but not hastily. They are always professional on the phone and in person. It makes for a pleasant experience for me. It feels like a friendly neighborhood garage and that's hard to find in Austin anymore.

I came in for a state inspection today and was in and out in a matter of a few short minutes. I was greeted with a smile, checked right in and then took a seat in the waiting area which was clean and quiet. A few minutes later, I got "the nod" that I was ready to go! Thanked for my business, I walked out the front door satisfied and state inspected in under 30 minutes.
Bravo Chelsie's for a job well done from start to finish!

I have been coming here from last 3 years for getting my car inspection done for renewal registration. The folks who work there are very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Bryan is welcoming no matter how much they are occupied with their other work.

Reasonably priced and decent service time. When Lamb's was booked out, thankfully Chelsie's was available since they take walk-ins. It's family run, so I'm happier to go here anyway, but it's also a bonus that I've been able to get both car and motorcycle inspections at the same shop.

Wow! Speedy and friendly service! On the 31st of the month, on a Friday after 4pm I stopped to make an appointment for an inspection. The guys were great and Took my truck in right on the spot for an inspection. I am so very grateful! I will definitely come back Brother needs!

Don’t go here whatever you do. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and always trusted them and thought they did good work. I was wrong. I had a check engine light and I used my own OBD to see what was going on. It seemed like a pretty minor repair after doing all my research. I drop the car with Chelsie’s and they call me back with an astronomical estimate. Normally to save time I would just let them do the work. This time I decided to make a few calls and immediately found a highly rated shop at 1/3 the price of Chelsie’s. I went to get my car and I talked with the owner Chelsie about it. I explained that I had been a loyal customer. He did not care. I explained the cost difference and that it was disappointing to have to take my car somewhere else. He did not care. He charged me a ridiculous diagnostic fee that was as much as the repair. His diagnosis was the same as mine that I did for free! I told him that was going to be big mistake if he charged me for it and it is. Make sure you do not go to this shop. This guy is a clown. When did good customers start not mattering? Not sure how much these shysters stole from me over the years but it’s significant. I hope I just saved you some time and money.
