Wonderful, fast service. Best finger food in ATX. The bar was the perfect volume and atmosphere. Will definitely be making this my next dining spot.

The greatest restaurant in Austin, the Chilis at 45th and Lamar has chefs everywhere puzzled. This glorified Luby’s has all of the foods you would hope to find at Costco, but someone has gone to the effort of defrosting or re-frying everything for you.Have you ever wanted to understand what tires taste like if you were to season them with minimally ethnic spices and cut them into strips? You are in luck because their fajitas make Charles Goodyear jealous. The service was great - no complaints in that department. If I find something edible I will go back.

They sat me away from everyone else. They brought out the wrong drink and never brought the dressing I asked for. After 30 minutes go by. I finally asked the manager so that I can get addressing to eat my chicken with. She offers me dessert and I end up getting sick the next day after eating it.

In the land of Chili's, where savory tales unfold, we embarked on a culinary journey sprinkled with enchanting surprises. As we joyfully feasted on the delectable offerings, a celestial spectacle unfolded. A majestic white horse, its mane dancing in the wind, galloped gracefully across the parking lot. Folk whispered that it was a symbol of good fortune, a mystical guardian of flavor.Amidst the mirth and merriment, a tale of cosmic legend emerged. One of spirited companion from the group mentioned an old man and his dog was abducted 20 years ago by aliens just two booths away from where we sat. The called the incident “dined and ditched”In the realm of Chili's, where every dish tells a story, the white horse and extraterrestrial merriment became part of the tapestry of our shared feast, creating a folk tale to be passed down with each sizzling fajita and spicy tale of the Chili's land. This could have only happened at Chilis on 45th & Lamar.Kid-friendliness: They have the game on most of the time

The bar lights are blindingly bright. Never seen this in any restaurant ever before. I spoke to the staff, and then the manager, and he blatantly lied to my face and said that the lights don't dim. This is after the staff has told me that they regularly complain about the brightness but he is the one who wants it up at these levels.I literally got a headache trying to eat and read a book at the bar from the intense lumens. It's ridiculous.Sit anywhere else but the bar.

Consistently solid offering. We went to try the Espolon Margarita feature (Spice-a-Rita and Nice-a-Rita) and love the monthly drink features.

Unfortunately this was the worst ! I’m sure the white cheddar Mac and cheese is to delicious if I could of try it . The entire time , with plenty of bar staff walking right in front of me , no one never noticed i did not have any silverware to eat with , nor did ever ask once if needed anything , yes silver ware another drink while I watch the Texans/ Ravens game . I paid my tab , hope they don’t get Butt hurt , cause I absolutely refuse to tip for ths type of service .

We're from another college town and recently moved to Austin. We've been trying to visit all of the local hole in the wall restaurants but sometimes, you just need and want Chili's. This location is just down the road from us and we've kind of been hesitant on Chili's just from our past experience with the location in our hometown. Fortunately, we were surprised to have a great experience and be served great quality food with great service. I wish I remembered our servers name to give them credit! We will definitely be back!
