I was very unhappy with the job they did on my last move and do not recommend them. The mover they sent was slow and rude. Management was unresponsive so that is also a red flag.

STAY AWAY. Apple Movers are HIGHLY unethical and refuse to hear customers' complaints calling out their behavior. I honestly used NO ONE except for Apple Movers for several years in Austin, after hiring them and being very happy with their work several years ago. In recent years, I've noticed that my last few moves with Apple had been going down sharply and steadily in quality. The final straw was my last move, which was out of a downtown location to a moving pod in east Austin. I gave an EXTREMELY accurate estimate of my moving needs and explicitly spoke several times with René at the office to confirm that they knew I was moving out of the middle of downtown and that there was NO available parking around it, and the property itself has its own set of moving and insurance requirements for movers working in the building. After being reassured several times that they understood all of the weirdness related to my moving out, I went ahead and signed their contract for a flat rate of $265 (I had less than a studio's worth of stuff). Moving day, 10/29/2015, the movers call me twice to delay. They end up being more than two hours late, and their guy (I was EXTREMELY upset by this incident and have unfortunately forgotten his name) was obviously in a bad mood from the moment I opened the door. Clearly, this was the result of the previous move, but it is in no way my fault, and an extremely unprofessional bearing. Despite this, I kept a positive attitude, cuz, well, who wants to be in a bad mood? So he introduces himself and his partner, does a quick survey, then storms out the door down the hall. He comes back, and says that the office wants to talk to me. Not having any idea what's going on, I call the office. René explains that he's just "looking out for his guys" and he's "really concerned" about the parking situation. Because it's in the middle of downtown and there's nowhere for them to park their truck, like I had explained previously. Also, he made a huge deal out of the fact that I said there were zero staircases involved in getting to my apartment despite the fact that I lived on the fifth floor. Which they knew from the beginning: it's in my address and who expects anyone to live on the ground floor in a downtown building? There are no staircases which can be used to get to the apartment, and everything is accessed via an elevator, so I accurately stated there were no staircases involved. So, René continues, they are going to have to invalidate my existing contract and do an hourly arrangement. At this point, there's this angry guy twice my size and heft who is responsible for taking care of everything I own on this planet standing directly behind me while his coworker is extorting me for more money over the phone. And I had absolutely no choice but to agree. I could have refused, I could have raised a stink about it, I could have sent them away and booked someone else, but as anyone who's ever moved before knows, realistically, you can't do this because you don't have the time. The move itself is not great (they drew complaints from the building management), but it gets done. At the end, when the cranky mover is calculating what I "owe" them, he goes into a rant to me about how wealthy the residents are, how it's so expensive that they need to take out an insurance policy to work there, and how my original CONTRACTED price was unfair because of this reasoning. I do not steal or cheat, and so I paid the $470 he charged me on a $265 contract while explicitly telling him I would NEVER use their services again. He shrugs, because he could not care less. I call the office the next day to complain and René is not only unapologetic, but takes the attitude that he can't refund me because they "already performed a service." I'm PISSED at this point, and drive to their office and let them have it. I explicitly tell them repeat

Everything in my house was moved very quickly. It took far less time than expected. Quick service & affordable pricing.

We recently used Apple Moving to move about two bedrooms of furniture and other household goods and keepsake to storage. We found the entire process simple, quick and simply perfect. Chris worked with us on our quote and their pricing was in line with expectations. He was very fast in turning around the first quote within a few hours and then providing us updates as we updated the inventory list. On moving day, Lawrence and Mike were on time, professional, careful and thoughtful in how they both loaded and unloaded our belongings. They were quick overall as well. I've used Apple several times over the last ten years and have always been pleased with their professionalism, pricing and reliability. I'll use them again.

Do not recommend this company. They were two hours late to pack the truck. Truck was too small. Spent 6 hours trying to squeeze our things into it. Dropped several boxes and broke the contents. We witnessed this. Somehow those boxes never made it our new home. They were then 3 hours late to delivery to the new address. Both movers had attitudes because we complained about them being late. Needless to say, they were then careless unpacking. Broke several more items. In short, even after having a supervisor come out to take pics of the damages, we have not been reimbursed. We Are filing with the attorney generals office. They are less expensive for a reason. It's your call

Two things that make me skeptical. 1. I called to schedule a move. They seemingly reserved it for me, and were supposed to send me an email confirmation. After 24 hours, no confirmation email. I sent them a message through their "contact us" form on the website. After waiting 2 days, no response. Called again to get a confirmation sent. 6 hours later, still no confirmation. I cancelled. If they can't get an email to send, how can I trust them to show up? 2. They don't seem to respond to feedback on this site. I definitely see that as a red flag. To be fair, I used them once before 7 years ago. They were fantastic back then.

Apple Movers - The Worse Movers Ever ! Three Resets, Damages my property, plus they refuse to help move the small boxes I specifically quoted via email? Kept stating not enough time, but then charged me for 30 minutes that I went over? If they had moved the rest I would have taken 30 minutes). The icing on cake is hearing a man rip apart a priceless antique and be told goto a website and get the form? Talk about worse customer service ! You make your own call, but you have been warned.

Costs of damaged furniture and destroyed television exceeded savings of packing estimate. We chose them because they claimed to be insured and would be responsible for packing into shipping containers. Their estimate was reasonable and they worked quickly. But the packing was poorly done, they did not use the materials provided to protect flat screen TVs. They packed fragile boxes upside down, gouged wooden furniture and flatscreen smart TV was destroyed because it was not packed properly in provided packing material. They never responded to insurance claim for damages.

5-Star job today, fellows. Guillermo and Kenyon were professional, courteous, and quick. I'd ask for these two by name if possible. See you all again in 1-4 years for my next move.

UPDATE: 7.12.3018 * Table top finally arrived after 3 attempts. APPLE HAD THE NERVE TO REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT FOR SHIPPING CHARGES VIA IKEA OF 42.00!!! *Check for missing kitchen ware totalling ...24.00. **So, to recap...800$ move, tip and breakfast for the guys, 150$ in missing kitchen ware and Apple Moving actually thought that WE still owed THEM 42$!!!** NEVER, EVER AGAIN Very disappointing. As a long time, about 12 years, customer it actually pains me to write this review. For the past many moves, 4 at least I've had nothing but raves for Apple Moving. The service, both the move and customer care had always been exceptional. This experience however has been the complete opposite. We moved a 2 bedroom apt not more than a couple of miles. One small set of stairs at the pick up and an elevator to use at the drop off. In the past, a move similar to this has taken 3 to 4 hours and cost no more than 400.00. And no elevator. This move took 6.5 hours and total cost, with tip...800.00! Broken and lost items. We spoke to Mike once and Chuck a couple of times. Mike was willing to replace the broken desk top right away if we were willing to accept a piece thinner than the one broken. As for the lost items, we were told they would look in the warehouse. We sent the dimensions for the desk top, waited for a response on both issues. After a second email 2 days ago, I have not even received a common courtesy response. Of course, we can file for the items lost and broken and wait the 60 to 90 days, which we will, but to be treated so poorly after such a long and satisfying business relationship is, to say the least, very disappointing. As for the ridiculous cost of this move, Mike informed us that employees had been let go bc of their inability to book moves appropriately, like ours and had cost him deeply in refunds. But, not in my case. That is fine. We really didn't expect much after the first conversation with Chuck. All I can think is that they really don't care about the loss of a single customer at this point and they have lost this customer for all time. When once I bragged and pointed as many potential customers as I could their way, I will never again recommend Apple Moving to anyone.

Ruben and Josh were exceptional in every way. They were accommodating when moving our Thermador which is huge and awkward as a piano. This is my second move with Apple. Marcus and Guillermo were my previous Apple movers. Thank you Apple ! I definitely Recommend Apple...best rate, fast and professional.

Kenyon and Huck just moved me I to my new place with amazing ease. They moved me 3rd floor to 3rd floor quickly and efficiently. They even helped position several pieces of furniture. Such great service.

Ryan Huck and Daniel did a wonderful job today moving me. They got my impossibly large sectional into my apartment when I thought it was hopeless. Great customer service from these two. Keep these guys!

My friend, K'Andrea and I had Apple Moving move some furniture to her house and to mine in the same truck. I want to say that Ryan and Daniel from Apple Moving did a great job in moving the large pieces and had to negotiate a difficult turn on the stairs in my house, which they did so very professionally with no damage. I'm grateful for their help. Mace
