Comerica is my favorite for a bank. Their people are great is what makes the difference. Just last week my bank officer called to check in, and it happened I was about to do a balance transfer. Gopal had a much better one, we arranged to meet and open that instead. It keeps the transferred balance at 0% for 18 months and I qualified for more than need right now, good to have that available.
Paying down the one card I have a balance on, by cutting out the interest on several thousands I will save $74 at first then gradually more.
Also cut my "utilization ratio" from 36% to 29%. This is a big part of credit score. It's worth getting a higher credit limit if you carry any balance, just for the higher score.
Getting this much help when rates, prices of everything are up, I'm grateful. Especially when millions of Americans are barely getting by, having to put living expenses on credit cards -- just as rates have gone up. Our credit card debt is over a trillion, an all time record. ?
It's a weight lifted that I hadn't realized was there till next morning. With less cortisol from lower stress, I'd gotten to sleep earlier. More energy, lighter mood so got more done, sent upbeat texts to friends. Ripple effect -- one action can shift your situation just enough. Once in motion, you tend to stay in motion. If I can do it you can too. ?

I highly recommend this Comerica Branch on Burnet. I worked with Audrey Perry along with Mehak and opened a CD plus savings account along with a credit card. They explained thoroughly the interest % and also walked me thru setting up my online account immediately. Very impressed with customer service!

(US) Direct Express and this Unscrupulous Financial Institution are the same pathetic organization. Direct Express has over 5M customers of SSi, SSA, SA Customers. DIrect Express has stolen ...yes stolen Millions of Dollars from it's customers on Fraudulent online fictitious charges that customers are charged for. There is only One (1) incoming line (2) A pre recorded message " we are experiencing normal then heavy call volume" this is ongoing 24/7. Customers have had to wait up to 24 HRS on the phone to obtain DE Rep. These DE Reps are fucking arrogant, lazy ass, mother fuckers that barely speak English and will hang up on you immediately. This Cancerous financial institution has more online Fraudulent Charges then any other bank. In addition, this bank, several years prior, has a $628M loss of Unaccountable Funds. It appears the funds instantaneously grew feet and walked away. It walked away alright to the upper management pockets from which it stole money from the mentally disabled, elderly and mentally challenged customers. If this doesn't make you upset, sad or cry then you are not human and lack a soul!! DE should be shut down, it's upper management hung by their balls and allow a reputable Institution to take over. These is a senator involved that keeps the Bank Doors Open. This Bastard should be sent to the Guillotine along with Biden and Harris!!

They nickle and dime you to death. No negotiation no "misunderstanding" , it's all "you should have read the fine print." This is a terrible bank and I will never recommend my family and friends to come here .

This bank is terrible. Just moved to the Austin area and my company uses this bank so we decided to go to a local branch to cash the check. They were unable to verify funds because "no one picked up"- when we asked if the company had an account with them they said yes but their manager wasn't in that day so they couldn't do anything else to help us cash the check. No wonder they have a 2 star rating and not a sole was at the bank. What happened doesn't even make sense and clearly shows they don't care about their customers.

the direct express debit card by comercia bank is a big scam and rip off you pay 17.50 to have a card overnighted by them and ups lost the card than when you call customer service you get your life threatened by them I have submitted all the paperwork to prove my case and get told to f off is this how you treat you customers your nothing more than a bully and are not getting away with it

They dumped 400$ of fees on me in 4 days due to me trying to transfer my money to a new bank and forgetting to cancel a charge and going 5$ negative. Very suspiciously refuse to work with me on solving this problem and refuse to shut down my account until I pay all 400, but continue giving me overdraft fees. Customer service and management was extremely rude and dismissive. Run far from this bank. Predatory banking practices.

So far this seems to be a very service oriented bank. All the ladies are very friendly, patient, and helpful. All the fees are reasonable, and everything is completely free if you follow the rules. After horror stories with almost all of the big banks, Comerica wins first place in my book.

If you need a full service commercial bank where you have access to one person who can help with all of your business and personal needs see Tommy Elliott! I have been a long customer of Comerica, but would not stay if it was not for Tommy. He has helped me with so many issues and has made my life so much easier over the years. I have worked with all kinds of bankers in the last 15 years, but he is better than anyone I've come across.

They nickel and dime you to death. They charge to deposit cash, and their wire fees are absurd, other than that they do what every other bank does, just charge you more to do it. I used to like them until I asked for a cash deposit service fee of $8.75 to be reversed and they said no, I said ok I will close my account, and they said OK! So I'm on my way out, just want to put it out there. Not that other banks are much better, but Frost has always served me well.
