Timothy at the front desk was wonderful throughout our stay.
I appreciated the efforts the hotel made to be dog friendly. It would be nice to have some grass, though.
The room AC and shower weren't great, but the location was decent.

I'm usually a huge Marriott fan, but maybe I received the "Courtyard" or "Austin" experience this past weekend.
Let me paint a picture for you of my experience at this particular location:
You attend your concert at the Germania Amphitheater-Kygo, you were able to hear a live performance of the song that came out after your father died that really meant a lot to you, it actually brought tears to your eyes. The drive was perfect to and from the hotel for the location, not too long, and you were able to grab a bite to eat so you could settle in after the exhilarating experience. You crawl into bed at 2 am, after taking a cold shower, because the hot water wasn't working, again, and you are fast asleep.
At 10 am you hear knocking at your door, with a male voice saying something. As you were waking you remembered that you were going to call maintenance to fix the hot water, but hadn't yet, so it couldn't be maintenance, maybe you somehow slept past check out time (12 PM)? You check your watch so see it is shortly after 10 am, so you know you haven't missed check out, then you hear a card swipe and the door opens!!!!! Thank goodness you had used the safety lock so whomever it was shut the door and moved on down the hallway. You continue to hear knocking so you begin to wonder if there is an emergency? Maybe you should get up and see what the urgency is all about. So you get up, slip non-sleepwear clothing on and open the door. The manager just nods at you and says, "We usually have people leave without telling us, so just making sure." Stunned, I just shake my head and ask if he could fix the hot water, so I can take an appropriate shower. He did, thankfully.
Then I wondered about the family next door to me, did they have the same experience?
I know some people would make it all about "I'm a female and expect to feel safe in my travels" (I do), but I want EVERYONE to feel safe in their travels. And this is not the experience I had at this particular hotel.
I emailed the property and the CEO of Marriott, so far I have been offered 6000 Bonvoy points, a total of $50 credit to my next stay. I paid $161 just for the room. I feel like Marriott could do better considering no hot water and invasion of privacy. Just for the record the property manager has emailed me twice to apologize.

Stayed here after flight through Austin airport was cancelled. Went to the bar for drinks and food and was greeted by Joe who was extremely welcoming and made our night more enjoyable.

The water was cold at the hottest setting. The bed and pillows were not good at all. There was an electric crackling noise in the room that we thought was coming from the light next to the bed. There were also cracks all in the walls and the wash clothes were like sandpaper.
2 stars is only because the staff was friendly.

Food and drinks: After 9am you will not find hot coffee
Noteworthy details: No shuttle available from 8pm to 8am
Urgent maintenance in elevators, carpets, doors

Close to the airport, and shuttle also available. Close to mayor big roads, and big parking available. Service super friendly. Rooms are big and clean.

This is a very nice hotel for the $120 base price. Clean and new rooms. Bathroom also clean with nice shower. This whole hotel is dog friendly. They even have a big container of free dog bones.
Would recommend if you are in the Austin area. This is really close to the airport.
Friendly staff.

Stayed here several times. It's a decent hotel, but with aggravating small deficiencies such as no Internet TV, so no Netflix or YouTube, just basic cable. Also odd mechanical noises, something sounding like a power sounder on the floor (I've noticed this on multiple stays). But my most recent stay will be my last. While watching Netflix (on my computer) in bed, I watched a huge roach crawl up the wall next to me.

Shuttle broken. Cost an extra 50 for the Uber. Nonchalant attitude. Advertised as having a working shuttle and paid parking in many sites. Frustrated.
