Went to Covert Cadillac to get an Escalade for my wife. Couldn’t have asked for a more seamless experience. They found the exact one that I wanted, and were very professional. Shout out to Travis the Sales Manager, Angel the salesman, and Jerry in finance for making it an easy process!

I tried to purchase two cars from Covert Cadillac this year and was unsuccessful. The new car sales reps do not want to work and made the buying process so horrible that I went and purchased from a dealer in the DFW area. I tried contacting Covert for warranty work and was informed I needed to call the collision place and not them. Called the collision place Covert informed me to call and they were even confused why I was not going through the dealership. Needless to say I do not recommend Covert Cadillac in Austin, they do not want to help you buy you a car or fix anything.

I have been with Covert for several years and the shining star is their service department. Jennifer at the Research location in Austin goes above and beyond for her customers, she treats everyone with respect and kindness. I will continue to use them especially for that reason. This was an exceptionally smooth and easy experience from start to finish. Chris Tropiano was outstanding and an absolute pleasure to work with, both during and after the sale. He was professional, attentive, and made the entire process enjoyable. Everyone at the dealership was fantastic, and the level of service truly exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend them.

The only reason I’m even giving this a 1 star is simply because the service department has been extremely good to me, helping me and accommodating me and my MANY visits due to the crappy car sold to me at this location.
Now- let me start with the fact that this is was my 3rd purchase from covert. My first buy was amazing, it was all done at the hutto location. So we traded the first Escalade in for a newer one and went with the 183 location… I had that Escalade for a year with no issues, and then it ended up in the shop for a month and we were unsure of when it would be done so we decided to just trade it in on the newer body style we had always wanted- BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! I should have waited it out and stuck with the same vehicle… but I didn’t. We paid over $100,000 for an UNRELIABLE VEHICLE that has broke down on me multiple times going into service ever 2-4 months totally 4 times in the year that I have had it. And not in and out stuff, MAJOR ISSUES causing me to end up in a loaner for extended periods of time. Yes the extended warranty is great and helps with the repair bill- but I have had to pay for loaner vehicles at times due to it breaking down at the worst of times and me being stuck without a vehicle either on the side of the road or even better- my kids school pick up line. I am a mother of 4 who’s constantly busy with school, sports, appointments, ect. When you pay $100,000 for a vehicle you expect it to be a reliable one for you and your family… but NOPE not a Cadillac. And then to top it off- the dealership DOES NOT CARE! They got their money and made the sale, they are done with you… I have tried to call and talk to a used car sales manager, left vm, talked to an internet sales manager that said he would speak with the used car manager and get back with me- NEVER HEARD ANYTHING! I have text my sales person asking for a copy of my sales contract to see if I can find someone on their to call, again NOTHING.
I feel like I’m stuck with this crappy unreliable vehicle that I can’t get out of because of how much we paid for it, and that I was dumb and let them fool me thinking they actually cared about their customers.. like they were doing me a favor trading in my car that was in service and helping me find a better more reliable care when in reality they didn’t care one bit- they got their sale and moved on and won’t even try and help get me out of this nightmare they put me in. Even the service department feels terrible every time they see me, because they know how often I am there and with major issues and how much of an inconvenience this has been in my life. Sales tho- could care less about you!
Save your money & go somewhere else that actually cares about its customers. Even being a returning customer buying multiple vehicles from them- doesn’t matter. I have grown up in the car buisness and I promise you- There are dealerships that actually care. DONT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

I've attempted to buy a car here multiple times due to the fact they were the only cadillac dealer in the austin area for convenience. Service is horrible to say the least. Save your time and money and take it elsewhere.
