DO NOT take your vehicle to Covert Ford, response time is not good. They have been sitting on my truck for over a week.

Want to first note that I purchased my 2014 F150 at Covert and have all of my maintenance & repairs performed there. Brought my truck in the Thursday before Christmas with an unexpected, significant power (non-electrical) issue and was initially told there was a backlog until the following Tues. However, my service advisor, Will H., recognized my long standing history and advocated on my behalf to be moved up. He was under no obligation to do that, but I sincerely appreciate his extra effort and why I am writing a review here. Sure, going to the dealership may be more expensive, but my time is worth more. Repairs took 1.5 days...it was that extensive.

Getting a quote from the advisor was like pulling teeth. Finally just able to get quoted “our labor rate is $220/hr and we’ll have to see if we have the parts once we tear into it.” Thank you for not considering the value of my time.

Asked them for help with an issue with my alarm. They basically blew me off and didn't even look or test out the alarm. This place is ghetto and no help.

I kinda owe Jenner an apology. I came in with multiple recalls and only really had the time to resolve one. Unfortunately, due to unforseen delays, it took longer than I expected, but I'm very thankful for the help.

Over 3 weeks, and $700 later, THIS is how my truck was returned to me. Door panel in the back, on top of the rear seat - now detached. Insulation peeled back and left as is. With the screws, washers, and bolts just rolling around in my floor mat.I have to take it somewhere else just to put it back the way it was before I dropped it off. Then, to be told since it's Friday, and Veteran's Day weekend, I can wait until Monday to get a call from the service director. Forget my weekend plans, I'm just a Purple Heart recipient. It's not like I went to war or anything. What do my Veteran's Day plans matter? We wouldn't want to disturb the boss or ruin his plans. How can you possibly try to justify returning a vehicle to a customer in this condition?!?!?! Four weeks to get my truck back in pieces. I could have let my neighbors' four year old do the same thing free. I didn't take my vehicle here for a lack of skills, I brought it here out of a lack of time. Now I'm out the time I've lost, and the money on my rental. What a bargain!NEVER COME HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! I only left one star because the scale doesn't go negative, and you have to leave one star for a review. Unbelievable, truly.

Worst experience I've ever had paying someone to fix something. My Focus's dashboard stopped working, so I drove it to Covert, where I gave it to a service rep, who drove it away and parked it (that will be important later). After waiting a week to have anyone look at it, they told me they couldn't look into the dashboard, because one of the cables to the 12-V battery had a bolt that had broken and was missing. I suggested that they replace the bolt, but they told me that Ford rules don't allow them to replace only the bolt; they have to replace the entire battery cable system, which is $350 in parts and labor. I just bought the bolt at O'Reilly's for $7 and replaced it myself, but they punished me by putting me back at the end of the line. After waiting another week, they told me that they weren't having any luck with the dashboard, but would I like them to look into why the brake lights were always on, all the time, even when the car was turned off? I pointed out that that hadn't been the case when I gave them the car, and they hemmed and hawwed and said they'd try to fix it. Another week went by, and they told me that they couldn't figure out how to fix the dashboard, but they'd like to be paid hundreds of dollars in labor for trying, and another couple of hundred for fixing the brake lights that they broke. I refused to pay for the brake light work, and a manager backed down. Then, when I went to collect the car to try somewhere else, they revealed that it couldn't be driven and would need to be towed away. I asked them when that had happened, and they acted surprised and said that the car had never driven, that it had always been broken and unable to drive the entire time they'd had it---even though I drove the car onto their lot, and one of their staff drove it away to park it when I gave it to them. When I complained to a manager, he insisted that "the notes" said the car had always been undriveable. But, he offered to try to fix it so that it could drive again for $1500 in diagnostics, plus whatever it would cost to actually fix it. At this point they had had my car for six weeks, and in desperation, I agreed. A week later, they told me that the part they needed to fix the car is no longer sold for Ford, no longer made by its original manufacturer, and not available on the secondary market, so they just can't fix the car, and it will never drive again. I finally had to just sell the car to scrappers to try to get what value I could back out of it. My service representative was also totally useless throughout the process. She never once contacted me, even though that's literally her entire job, and when I tried to get hold of her, she never, at any time, answered her phone. Her text messages were choppy, broken, and unclear, and at one she actually told me that "she doesn't really understand most of the technical jargon the technicians use, so she can't really explain it to me", even though, again, that's literally her job. In short, Covert has service techs who can't fix Ford card, a parts department that can't get Ford parts, service reps who can't explain what's wrong with a car and won't reach out to their customers to tell them, and managers who falsify records to conceal Covert's responsibility when they're destroyed a car that was in their care. Never do business with them.

Do not waste your time or money. It took over a month to get my car back for basic interior upholstery repair (factory issues). When I got my invoice back it said they spent under 3.5 hours actually working on my car. The entire time communication was very poor. No one ever followed up on my calls and I was provided conflicting information when I spoke to people. Never ever again.

I visited this location for the last time almost a year ago. These scumbags failed to fix my vehicle's air conditioning twice. The first "fix" cost me almost $2K if not for a worthless discount that was less $100. I was told I didn't have enough Freon so they put some in. I had cold air for a month. I stupidly decided to trust them again and this time they made some excuse about having previously overcharged my Freon. Once again this second "fix" lasted a month. I was mad when I brought it in a third time and they had the nerve to accuse me of not being willing to work with them. Well, they ended up being right about that.Firestone succeeded where Covert Ford failed and now my air conditioner is fixed. Covert Ford had tried to tell me I'd be waiting months for other service providers to give me back my vehicle. Firestone got me back my vehicle in less than 48 hours where as I had to wait almost 2 weeks for each failure at Covert Ford.Eventually I'll want another Ford when my current expires beyond repair. But I certainly won't buy from these leeches.

Waited 30 minutes for parts and gave up. This place must be busy or just not want to help. Need management to step up.

Took my truck in to have the brakes fixed. I told them what I thought it needed. They told me 2,100.00 and that's to replace everything. I told them no, check again and they came back with the same price. I told them hell no. They changed me 50.00 for nothing. I took it around the corner and got everything fixed for 350.00. They just want your money and don't care about the customer.

I have been trying to get a response from the GM for about a month. I obtained a 2017 Ford Explorer in November of 2022 from them and in less than six months the motor and turbos went out. The warranty mechanics said it won't be covered because the previous owners did not keep up the maintenance. So now that leaves me with $16,000 cost of repairs to have it working again. This is bad business in my eyes. They should never have sold the car.
