I am a senior female living only off social security. I am a faithful paying customer at cube smart.This business wants to increase rent yearly when new paying customers don't even pay half the price they charge long term customers. The front desk staff are nice, however they have very little decision making control(or so they say)and will direct us over to the senior district manager.They did not increase rent on me last year but made up for it this year by increasing my monthly bill a whopping $40.more each month. I understand it's the nature of this type business, but $40. is an extreme monthly increase and me speaking with the district manager did not help at all. He didn't even suggest or inform me of any other possible options now or down the road. As one reviewer noted "This is bad business practice".They take advantage of their long term customers in order to make up the difference in pay they lose on their new customers very Low monthly payments and first months Free rent.I feel stuck because at this time I have no savings to up and move the things from my storage unit.I noticed most positive reviews on here are new or short term customers. I was enthused in the beginning as well. But it won't last, so don't be fooled. I suggest you look elsewhere for cheaper rates "long term" before getting hooked with big monthly increases at CubeSmart.

This Cube Smart is my favorite. I have been a client for a number of years. The current management is by far the most qualified and incredibly helpful. Richard has assisted me with my account issues in a very productive and timely manner at least half a dozen times. Amanda, the newest rep is the kindest young lady who is diligent with her job. Unlike previous management and reps we see them all the time on site and in the office.

The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly and always able to answer any of my questions. Richard made both the move-in and move-out processes easy and stress-free.

Everything was very easy online, including signing the lease with SmartRental. I received everything necessary to access my storage via email. I really appreciate the follow-up call from Matt to make sure I didn’t have questions or concerns.

They will steal your belonings while you are moving in/out. Watch out the employees wandering around the units when you are moving things in/out!

Great self storage place, and convenient to the neighborhoods and community surrounding Moontower Saloon.I’d give it five stars, but recently they have been adjusting rents up whenever the market conditions change, but they’ve never told us about openings or options that lower our cost as their costs lower. That feels like a bad business practice, but I have to admit, they keep the place maintained. Maybe their costs just keep going up? If so, you may experience the same rent increases we’ve been experiencing recently.

From the first call to the office on Manchaca these were professional, caring, people. They answered all my questions and won a customer right away. There are add on costs but at your choice. Lock is highless than $20, insurance $12 . Very secure , well kept.

Never buy storage units on auction on that facility.Richard was absolutely unsupportive with our case (couple time try to convince us do not come because owner of unit going to come and pay), we were agreed about timing when we will come to pick-up stuff from storage and literally got a call 5 min before arriving that unit will be sold to owner because he will come in 5 min and we don't need to come! But then couple hours were not canceled and been canceled after reaching out Storage Treasures. Cheating with won storage units

I’ve been charged twice in one month. I have called multiple times and get no call backs. I removed my lock in april and have now paid for 3 months!! this place is a JOKE do NOT give them your information
