If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. My storage unit has been infested with rats for months. Despite cleaning my unit multiple times, I kept finding fresh rat droppings and urine. When I brought it up to staff, the only suggestion I was given was to spray bleach and other cleaning supplies to “deter” the rats—completely unacceptable.
While walking the property with an employee, I personally saw multiple rats crawling into other tenants’ units. Clearly, this is a widespread problem. The facility has done nothing to address the infestation, provide pest control, or even acknowledge the issue with an apology.
Because of their negligence, I was forced to throw out a large amount of clothing and even an expensive paddle board that was chewed up by the rats.
This facility is unsanitary, unsafe, and irresponsible. 10/10 would not recommend storing your belongings here.

There is rat feces all over my unit and on my belongings… And a hole in the ceiling. Also, just got a call stating that they are charging me a ‘cleaning fee’ for putting trash at their dumpster they have. Mind you, there is a continuous amount of trash sitting on the ground as they got rid of their dumpsters a few months back. But even then a gross amount of trash just sitting out at all times never getting picked up for months. I’ve been here a couple years. Management also changes every couple months. Never know who is on staff. They hire some creepy people too.

Ok, to start off, we rented at one rate and the rent increased with nothing ever expressed about it being a changed or why. Now, after having had stuff there for over a year to open it up and see rat droppings everywhere and on everything is unacceptable. When we initially looked at the storage there was no sign of rat droppings else we would not have rented there. We are now having to consider disposing of a great deal of the stored items. This is a very disappointing situation.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! A RAT DIED in my unit after 1 month of renting! There is rat droppings EVERYWHERE in the hallways in front of multiple units. I saw a rat climbing a pole in the 3rd floor so nowhere in the building is safe. There’s many openings for the rats to get in the unit. I had to throw away many things because they were covered in pee and poop that I could not clean. I saw other people deep cleaning their unit with gloves on so i’m sure they had a similar experience. I did not bring gloves with me because I was not expecting to be dealing with a biohazard. The smell while disposing of the rat was one of the worst things I had to deal with and it stayed inside the unit for a long time. Deep cleaning everything I own will take me several days. I also saw a rat go inside the bottom corner of a closed outdoor unit. I don’t know how it fit, but it disappeared so I assume it squeezed its way inside. Absolutely unacceptable, 0 stars if I could. I also accidentally left my house keys inside after the doors locked at 10 and I called asking if there was any way to get them to open and they said that location had no managerial override. So in case of emergencies, you’re screwed.

Very friendly, informative, and professional.
Got a great deal on their 10x15 unit. Did a walk through of the unit before renting the unit and it was super clean. I had 0 concern for rodents or bugs.

Just wanted to give a Big Thank You to Tara Granger, store manager for Extra Space Storage # 3627 on Parmer lane. She was very helpful in helping me vacate my storage unit on her site and relocating me to a new Extra Space Storage facility 7 miles away. She made it so easy and stress free. Make sure you get insurance when you get a storage unit, even if it’s indoors! I am on the third floor and had to deal with rats getting in my stuff. There are rat turds and clawed up bags and boxes I have to deal with now and nothing can be done to solve the rat issue.
