Curative seems like it’s too good to be true. You’re telling me that everything is free? Well about 2 months into it I found out it has its negatives. The major issue is that they have the smallest formulary, meaning they have the smallest list of medications they approve. If you need a biologic medication, be prepared for them to deny every single one. My care navigator actually told me that the only way it would be approved is if my symptoms caused me to be more debilitated. Sure there are no copays and prescriptions can be free, but they are fast at denying the “expensive medications”. Be cautious with curative.

Every single person I've had the absolute pleasure of speaking with in this company have been wildly understanding, empathetic, encouraging and just truly stellar women. Across the board - from the 2 baseline visits to when I called about needing my insurance card. They are the kindest most helpful, makes you wonder if its even real insurance ever. 😹 You don't have to know what you are doing, they will get you there. The Curative team is AMAZING. 👏🩷 Thank you

Beware their insurance. Guilty of Deny, Dispute, Defend tactics. My spouse had an urgent surgery denied. While trying to find out why the surgery was denied, we had to forcefully advocate with the Curative representative to add the surgeon's assistant to the line. Eventually, the surgeon was able to call the insurance company and explain to the paper pusher at the insurance company the absolute urgency of the procedure.
Without us forcefully advocating to find out the reasoning for the denial, and our surgeon and the rest of the care team at the ARC, my wife would still be in pain and have the risk for further complications.

When my employer first switched to this insurance, I was very skeptical. I am very grateful for this insurance. I pay nothing out-of-pocket for any of my prescriptions or any of my treatments. I have not had any denials or any issues with curative.

The medical team here is amazing. I never feel rushed or unimportant. The insurance is awesome just like someone else commented. Nothing but respect for the company.

I have to disagree with the first review. Since my employer switched us from Humana to Curative, I haven’t paid a single dollar in deductibles, co-pays, or for prescriptions—just a small portion from each paycheck. With Humana, they took twice as much out of every paycheck, plus I had to deal with deductibles and prescription costs. After an abusive experience with Humana, I’m thrilled with Curative.

The worst insurance I have ever had to deal with! My meds have been denied because they say I am not at risk for heart disease. I am type two diabetic. I have high blood pressure and I have high cholesterol. My mom and all of her side of the family, including her mother and father, have had heart attacks and passed away due to severe heart disease. All they offer me is to join WeightWatchers. I’m not that big. I had gestational diabetes with my son, and it never went away. They want to see my bloodwork be off the charts before they will approve anything. Do not get this insurance.
