I’ve been with HEB Pharmacy for 40 years. My wife is always used CVS pharmacy. I’ve been trying to talk into HEB. Well today CVS convinced her to switch. We went by yesterday and they were two prescriptions supposed to be filled and I Told us they would probably be another two hours and I said I would come back. I didn’t make it back until this morning and they still weren’t filled. We had two prescriptions that just came in from our surgeon and another that was hand written. The surgeon called in an anti-inflammatory and And antibiotic. Then I had a hand written out for the painkiller. They said the first two were gonna be about four hours and they would not take the handwritten prescription for the painkiller. The difference between CVS and H-E-B. When H-E-B gets a prescription for an antibiotic or a painkiller, It’s 20 minutes max to fill an anabiotic or painkiller. And they will take a handwritten note. So we had HEB transfer the prescription from CVS. HEB told me It sometimes takes three or four hours for A transfer. She asked who it was from and I said CVS And she laughed. Then apologize for laughing and said she hoped it would be today.

Oh my gosh!! I went in there today for the first time in a year or more and it looks like it’s had a makeover. The biggest difference was how things were displayed and labeled. It seems as though someone has really put a lot of thought and effort into making improvements. The store looks great, extremely pleasant experience.

What ever happened to the days when people would go the extra mile to help you, the days when staying a few extra min late would help someone immensely. This CVS, the closest one to me as a visitor here in Austin couldn’t give 2 shhhhs! I ran out of my meds, would have stopped by earlier but I’m here for work so it’s not like I’m sitting around. Just needed enough to at least last me until I got back to NY. Even was willing to pay out of pocket just to make it easier… nope! They thought it was acceptable to send me 18 miles away in an Uber to a 24 hour one. The geek of a pharmacist with less than 0 personality and monotone voice just quoted some bs policy just to relieve himself of any responsibility.
To these people I say…how about if the roles were reversed and you or your family member, your mom needed her medication and you got the finger..how would you feel. Of course you wouldn’t feel anything because you’re not actually alive inside and just go through your mundane boring life as a pharmacist with absolutely no concern for others. The only upside is I’m in that Uber 18 miles away and I have just enough time to write this review. You suck CVS, your app sucks just like your employees and one day pretty soon no one will need to actually go to a pharmacy anymore because an actual robot with more of a soul will replace you.
Oh yeah the pharmacist is easy to spot.. he’s the geek with the glasses hiding in the back just thrilled to be able to tell people no because it’s the only little tiny bit of power he has in this world. You should be ashamed.

Absolutely INSANE you cannot reach someone in the pharmacy via phone. Only way to contact is leave a voicemail and wait for a call back. Forced to use this pharmacy by insurance. Atrocious.

I use this CVS all the time and the staff is helpful. Their new phone tree leaves a little to be desired when you try to call which is disappointing but the pharmacist was extremely helpful. She even helped me find a more affordable option for my prescription.

The man who works at this pharmacy I think his name is Richard is honestly so disrespectful every single time I come to this CVS. I never write reviews but every time I leave I leave upset and it’s just ridiculous how rude he is to customers, absolutely no customer service skills at all. Hopefully this review doesn’t make him even more rude when I come in the future lol.
