Clean, organized and chill atmosphere to shop in for the most part. I would give 5 stars, just because I am biased and LOVE this store, however I lowered it to 4 stars simply because there was not a staff member in sight. Was trying to ask where to find an item but no one was there to ask, and it was self check out only so no staff at the register area either.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this Daiso location for many years, but my experience on the evening of December 18, 2025 was extremely disappointing.
The cashier who checked me out (a white male, unfortunately I did not catch his name) was exceptionally rude and dismissive. When I politely asked whether the store had any bags available, he responded with visible disdain and simply said, “We’re out of bags.” Given the size of the store, I found it hard to believe that there wasn’t a single plastic bag available, but I chose not to argue at the time to avoid wasting my time or ruining my mood.
However, what made this situation unacceptable is that about 20 minutes later, my friend returned to the same store, made a purchase, and asked a female cashier the same question, and she was given a bag without any issue. This clearly shows that the information I was given was either incorrect or deliberately dismissive.
Additionally, when I asked the male cashier to package a ceramic bowl, he handled it carelessly, wrapping it with just two thin pieces of cardboard pressed on either side, like a sandwich, and considered that “packaging.” No proper protection was provided for a fragile item.
I seriously considered going back to confront him and ask what his behavior meant, but I decided not to further subject myself to such poor service.
I expect better consistency, honesty, and basic respect from a store I’ve supported for years. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I hope management takes customer service and staff training more seriously.

This is THE spot for when you need to buy Sanrio stationery, some fake plants, dishes, and a bag of Hi-Chews all in one go. Honestly I love this place and I can't walk out without buying something.

Daiso is like dollar store, but better! I was able to get lots of great school supplies here for myself, and fun little gifts! I even found DIY items. The best part are the dishes in the far back left corner. They have tea cups, glasses, bowls, plates, cooking supplies and so much more. I enjoy shopping their food section for snacks or a special drink. Daiso is adorable and worth visiting!

It's getting too expensive when this is suppose to be like a dollar store. 500¥ is translated to $8 by their terms. Prices keep increasing and won't stop. If prices keep increasing, might as well have a return\\exchange system because you're getting robbed by paying inflated prices. 500¥ is actually $3.47
