Horrible customer service. Made me wait over an hour and they ended up canceling my curbside pick-up. The item was in store but wouldn't let me pick it up.

No wonder this tired department store is going out of business. I ordered something on 2/3/25 for store pick up and it is now 3/6/25. I figured that maybe it would be available in a week or so tops.
I called the store and the staff were a nightmare to deal with, stating that they could not refund anything until it arrived in store. The whole problem is that it was not arriving in the store. It's already been a month and they said there was tracking set up already so it was FedExs fault.
Well, I looked up the tracking, and it says that FedEx never even received the item. They simply created a shipping label the day I made the order and then nothing further ever happened. Thank goodness this was not something that I could not live without or that had any level of urgency, but what a pain in the neck to have to sort this all out. To top it off and the time I've been waiting for it. It's now a fraction of the price I bought it at.
I finally was able to get through to their online center to cancel but what a hassle.
I will not shop here again, even though the prices are sometimes better, it is simply not worth the pain of working with the unpleasant staff and efficient processes.

Very helpful and kind employees, not that many people so no line for the fitting rooms. Some very expensive prices for certain cute items, but there are a few choice items that although plain were comfortable. The fitting room is nice and big, but I felt the layout inconvenient, like after fitting on clothes I would have to reach over to the rack to hang up the items and wishes the hanging rack was closer to the mirror.

They didn't have polo shirts for young women, but they're still pretty classy!

Do not go here if you are tall! Their selection of men’s big and tall suit jackets is a joke! They have 5 suits to try on. They don’t stock enough jackets that you actually have any choice or option to find your right size. I hear from the staff that is a very common complaint… yet the store has done NOTHING to remedy it. I spoke with a cashier and he said it’s not the stores fault because they are getting rid of their winter clothing… what’s funny is they have an entire floor of men’s suit jackets that stay in stock year round. Yet they can’t keep big and tall jackets in stock… no that’s a joke!

I was shopping in the children’s shoes department. The very rude woman acted like she did not want to help me, instructed me to try on shoes directly from the sales floor. When I asked her to get me shoes from the back, they only gave me one shoe- as if i was trying to steal??? I had to ask for the second shoe multiple times before I could have my child try on the full pair. Terrible customer service.

Was very excited to attend the Samples day. I first went to the Dior department and was created by an upleasant welcome from Hie. I asked if there were samples to try like moisturizers. She abruptly replied, "No." After applying my charm she provided a lovely sample of the Dior's 5N Foundation.
The rest of the event I was greeted with enthusiasm and a desire to help, showcase and provided samples.
To name a few I have samples from: Origins (fabulous) thanks Paola for your amazing customer service, Kiehl's, thanks Michelle, Clininique, and Shiseido!

I normally Love Dillard's but this time they ruined it! I'm a caregiver who takes care of an 86 year old woman, she spends a lot of money on Estee Lauder, she bought a bottle of Beautiful and a 1/4 of the bottle is left because the sprayer broke, they essentially said Sorry nothing we can do! I will attach pics, we weren't trying to scam them but in the Customer service world they should have done something!

I wish there was zero stars cuz Dillard's is becoming a Ross if customers are being treated like this. Today, around 5:45pm I encountered an extremely hostile and rude girl on the third floor working in the women's department. She had black medium curled hair, wearing provocative clothes that a person in a department store should not be wearing. That alone shows her low class. She kept glaring at me and rolled her eyes at me. My attitude was normal and neutral, but her attitude was off the limits. She had a disgusting attitude. All I wanted was a price check and ordering something online and she made me wait and ringed up the people behind me. Then she presented more of her horrible attitude after I wanted the receipt to print paper. I was trying to print receipt email and paper but selected email. Would it be so bad just take a few mins to print paper too. She fussed about it like a two year old would. All I know is her manager is named Leanna. Leanna didn't do anything wrong but it's the girl working under Leanna that needs a customer service class and training. Clearly, she hates her life and job to be acting rude to customers. She belongs to Ross not Dillards, with that type of attitude and presence. I agree with the other reviews on here, they are accurate and it's most likely talking about the same girl. Dillard's reputation is hindered because of low class girls like her.

If I could give zero stars I would. On yesterday 08/31;2024), I visited this location and what I had hoped to be a normal shopping trip turned into being racially profiled. I am aware of the times inwhich we live; however, I was not prepared for this amount of disrespect. Things were going well until I went to the womens fragrance section, were one Caucasian worker instructed her coworker to watch and the coworker did just that. I inquired about a fragrance (MCM), the lady (Carolina) unwilling to help acting as if she was unaware of what I was referencing. I went upstairs to the men’s fragrance section purchased the MCM walked around did more shopping. Once back downstairs I went back to purchase MCM for women. Happy that another worker was there I asked her to help and I purchased my item. At this point the worker ( Carolina) told LP the MCM tester was missing and implied I had taken it. I never touched the particular item in question, shocking to me. Being professional I grounded myself and spoke to a manager. While in shoes talking the original worker who believed I needed to be watched along with my friend followed us to shoes and pretended to be doing something. That was it, I decided Dillard’s did not need my “BLACK” dollars and returned the items. In no way will I be disrespected and embarrassed, over a tester. After this I realized they even called the police on me. Very disheartening to me and I am highly disappointed. I did go to another store and purchase my MCM fragrances. I have never experienced blatant racism to this level, nor watching one lie to feel superior over another based on color or your belief that I do not belong. Dillards please do better, just know you lost a great shopper and I will be sure to spread the word. You better check my previous track record of spending. Thank you for showing me how years of loyalty to your company equals racial profiling, racism, and works who have an inferiority complex and believe because of my color I don’t belong not deserve to be able to be in your store. Be mindful who you lie on and call the police on. I STAND FOR JUSTICE. This is not my last post or comment.

I went to look at a perfume and asked the sales lady if I could purchase a specific one. I got home and found out she got me the wrong one. I went back and a different sales lady allowed me to return it, and gave me a sample to take home to make sure I didn’t get the wrong one again. The second sales lady was super helpful, extremely nice, and eased my anxiety about returning such a pricey item that I had opened like an idiot. Turns out the perfumes were mixed up, so I understand the confusion. Wish I didn’t have to go all the way back, but customer service for the return was 10/10.

Dora in customer service was extremely rude and condescending to me. I wanted to get a blouse that had gone down almost $30 than when I purchased it 2 days ago. She told me “we don’t do that here” with a totally STANK attitude. She acted like she was doing me a favor when she returned the blouse for me to repurchase at the lower price. She rang the blouse up for repurchase at the same higher price. When I showed her the lower price online- she didn’t do ANY extra researching to ensure it’s the same blouse even at my insistence. I sat outside the department in bedding and looked online and it WAS the same blouse. I went upstairs to the Women’s department and the sales person, Monica Manning was VERY accommodating and helpful. She did the additional research required to confirm the blouses were one and the same. She called Dora who reluctantly granted me the correct/online price. I have NEVER given ANYONE a bad review. But I felt inclined to do so today. Dora needs to go to customer service training. If she doesn’t like her job, she needs to change careers and check her stank attitude at the door and be educated on 30 day price guarantees that almost ALL major department stores grant. This ain’t Ross….

It's great to see a anchor store still able to survive in a Mall.

I always go to Dillards, but it's my first time having exceptional customer service. I was looking for a high end evening dress and Taylor was extremely helpful and professional. She went out of her way to help me find a suitable dress. Thank you Taylor!
