This was the first time I had ever rented a vehicle, and I was quite nervous to rent it at an airport, so when I found out I was in the wrong place.It made things worse, but the lady at the Hertz counter inform me where I was supposed to go.But she went ahead and processed my reservation. The vehicle that I got was brand new.It was great on gas.It was fun to drive, and I hated to give it back but I can't wait to rent again from this company!!

Bait and switch. Booked a car at $133.00 with flight after all the fees $381.56 Final bill was $582.00. No damage. I did like the Idea of paying $44.00 for unlimited toll roads. Little high but depending on where you are I would say it could pay for its self. Defiantly wont be renting from them again. FYI they are owned by Hertz.

people stay away from Dollar rent a car. counter is always closed at the airport a sign is posted referring individuals to Hertz who then charges twice the amount. You have been warned

Zero humanity or compassion, they’re a bunch of robots so can’t wait for them to lose their jobs to them. I rented from them 3 times already but today I forgot my passport. My whole family with bags and passport back in the city. They would not budge on giving me a car forcing me to go back and forth with a toddler. Here’s the rub in my face. If I did online check in, would not need the passport, but I couldn’t do online check in because their app is broken.
Overall, just get rid of every worker there. There’s no point, if you’re going to act like and AI id rather talk to an so

Dylan at the Austin, TX rental counter was amazing! He was kind, courteous and so so helpful...not only with the rental car but also providing eating suggestions for the area. He provided excellent customer service and made the experience so smooth!

Hertz has a new way to rip off the customer, claiming damage to their vehicles when proof shows otherwise. Plus the car we rented made a horrible high pitch noise on the highway. Horrible.

Customer service on the phone is super frustrating. They hardly understood what I was trying to say and I had a very hard time understanding them. I wanted to take out the FPO from the rental and they never replied to my request. Customer service told me they couldn't change that; the option were come back to the airport to talk with the counter or make a request on the web site. I did it the first day and they never replay during the 6 days we rented the car. They didn't have a car in good conditions with the price we booked so, we had to make an upgrade that cost us 17 dollars more per day. The rent for the car ended costing a lot more of what we expected.

When I went to pick up my vehicle there were at least 15 people waiting in line and only 1 person working the counter. I waited for over 30 min and had to leave because the line hadn't seemed to move. I came back hours later to a line that was still at least 10 persons long. After waiting in line for 45 min. I was assigned a Standard size SUV. (My Rental) I went out to get my vehicle and saw that it was already taken. I went back inside and was assigned a Small Subaru which was all they had available. Worst rental experience of my life thus far.
