The man working sold me wood stain that had already been opened and did not produce colors even close to what was advertised. He also tried mansplaining to me how Berkey filters can filter fluoride out of drinking water when every independent study and just good old scientific research proves otherwise. He was so snarky and unprofessional. Don't waste your money unless you know what you're getting works.

The owner was super helpful and knowledgeable. The prices were far more reasonable than we expected. Support local Businesses!

Good products. The owner is generally who you deal with and he is a rude and unhelpful. Seriously, the guy should show up with a shirt on that reads: "Wanted: People Skills".

Great place. Best deal on non-toxic household items such as paint non toxic coatings and the owner tells it like it is when it comes to non-toxic. Ecowise sells the best quality products on the market and if Jim doesn't sell something he tells you where to get. If it's cheaper for you to buy something and it's not from him he tells you very quickly.

They have a product I would like to purchase but my gut is telling me to just order from the manufacturer instead. Person on the phone is cold and cuts you off when you speak. Has an attitude when explaining his product. Makes me hesitant to purchase from this store.

Old-school austin hippy style. Been helping me find Velvit Oil and other eco products for 15 years, and I'm looking forward to 30 more!

I tried to buy a berkey 2 gallon water filter with flouride filters. They were going to charge me $349. He is allowed to charge me whatever he wants, but he tried to tell me amazon was not any better. Amazon was $60 cheaper, even on their worst deals, and usually threw in a tumbler of some sort.

I've never been disappointed with the things I've bought from there. It's great quality and I always find the advice I seek valuable.

Please DO NOT go here. Low quality products, rude and extremely overpriced for what you're getting. Terrible experience here. To make matters worse, the contractor Ecowise uses for their wood floor installs skipped the state and moved to Florida with our money. Through our own measures and no help from Ecowise, we got our money back. Don't make the mistake by giving this place your business. You'll be sorry you did. Go to Treehouse.
