Mediocre experience overall. Lobby, foyer, and bar area are visually appearing although rooms are dated & dirty. Faulty AC/heating units, 2 maintenance requests to hot fix by adjusting valves only last an hour at most before returning to blowing very cold air only. Upon adjusting valves in the bathroom ceiling, dirt and debris were deposited all over the bathroom floor that was not cleaned upon multiple requests until the 3rd night. 3 requests to replace dirty & stained sheets were halfway denied at the front desk due to “housekeeping should’ve already replaced/cleaned them in morning”. Unfortunately, this is still the “best” hotel in this general area with the only upside being free happy hour and o’dourves.

I attended an event there, did not actually stay here. Vintage look when you enter. A lot of natural lighting, parking cost if you stay overnight.

Truly appreciate y'all's help this evening with cancelling my booking and assisting me with the cancellation fee. Due to a recent loss in my family I was unable to make this trip. With rescheduling my trip for a few weeks out, I will most definitely be rebooking with Embassy Suites Austin Central!

This hotel was preferred by my company for my stay. However the service was not good. When I checked in I was assured if I checkout earlier all charges would go back to my company card. I check out 3 days earlier because of work and went to stay in San Antonio instead. When I checked out I was assured again I was good to go and did not need anything else. When I received a bill charging me for 5 nights when I only stayed 2 I tried to call to get it fixed. I explained the situation and have proof I was not there. All I was told that there was nothing on there end showing I left early even though 2 staff members assured me I was good to go.

cleanliness could be worked on, substantially.
missing bags in the trash cans. bathroom floor was dirty. bathroom fixtures were loose. bedroom had a blinking smoke alarm (silent knight by honeywell) that was very annoying and woke me up a few times during my stay.
it's very close to the highway so be aware that if you are facing i-35 that you will hear traffic at 6am-8am so you will not to be sleep in without noise cancelling headphones. while the variety was great; the included breakfast was bland and the coffee was absolutely horrific. i loved the little water stations near the front desks every morning with little bits of fruit infused inside. i didnt visit the pool. i didnt visit the gym. the hotel itself is kinda dated and in need of a refresh, dramatically. the snack bar is beyond overpriced for the bare minimum. the hotel staff is very polite. from check in to check out the front desk staff were excellent. plenty of parking (at your own risk).
it's a shady area so be careful. target and ross are very close but dont walk there. it's very dangerous in this area. especially at night near the nearby gas station. lots of great uber eats and door dash options. there's plenty of hotel lobby lounge seating with lots of big screen televisions to enjoy with all of your meals. there was plenty of room in my suite. the furniture seemed a little dingy and could use a refresh. the bolted on hotel soap and shampoo were very nice. they smelled great and didnt dry my skin or give me dandruff. the water pressure was ample. the a/c was not consistent at 69-70 it often cut off in some sort of energy saver method even though i had the fan turned from auto to low. some of the light switches didnt work. the fridge was not clean and smelled dank. the in room sink had an ugly aftermarket sink nozzle that stuck out like a sore thumb.
if you dont draw the curtains; everyone in the hotel can see inside your room; which i found a little creepy. the elevators are aplenty and very efficient. the bed was very comfortable and i got plenty of sleep at different intervals during my stay because of the aforementioned reasons.
i do not recommend staying here.

Had to get my room swapped because I found a roach. The new room was fine and management worked with me to compensate me for the inconvenience.
I really liked their happy hour and breakfast, the blue hawaiian drink they had was tasty and their made to order omelets were really good.
Food and drinks: Evening happy hour every night, free breakfast with plenty of options in the morning

We had a last minute wedding here and all of the staff were extremely charming and accommodating. Julian and Robin from the sales department are miracle workers and helped us so much. They are forever engrained in our wedding story (in a good way), we will definitely be back in the future. Thank you for all of your help!

For the amount that you pay here ypu expect a certain amount of service. We spent over $700 just for the room for two days. The front desk at night was rude and very unfriendly. The wait staff at the restaurant is meh. The rooms have alot little issues and definitely needs to be updated. With Embassy I expected alot more and feel like I got jib. I have stay serval times at the embassy in San Antiono and let's just say that is a five star hotel and this is bearly a 3.
They over price everything here as well.
Just so disappointed and do not think I will be booking g again and may rethink embassy all together expect for the one in San Antonio.

Let’s start with the view , place is beautiful, Rooms are very nice .
The first room they gave me had a weird smell I did tell the woman at the front desk. I forgot her name but she was very very nice and put me in another room right away . Service was great . Enjoyed my stay a lot .
Rooms: Rooms are spacious , 2 TVs and the showers are nice .

Took this pictures because it was the third or fourth one we saw. There were crickets in the meeting rooms that kept chirping while people were presenting and flies and gnats in the atrium near all the food. Seriously get it together.

Best part is the central location. You have access to anywhere in Austin, especially UT. Rooms are nice, too!

Check in was easy. I like that we paid in advance for parking through app. Service was very friendly. The complementary evening drinks had a nice variety of. And included a nice spread of chips, salsa, cheese and crackers, and a couple other things. Breakfast was awesome. Lots of toppings for oatmeal. There were many hot items to choose from including eggs, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, and of course omelet station.
The room was clean. However some of the furniture was dated. Paint was peeling off tub. Paper filled a hole in shower. Shower head leaked, toilet very slow flushing, and very little water pressure.
The rooms were very clean, and comfortable. Fridge and coffee maker in the room.
Rooms: Very clean, but dated furniture. low water pressure.

Breakfast and Happy Hour are what makes this hotel GOOD. The room was HOT, AC was not working i let the young lady with the braids know at (10am) and nothing was done, then late at night i told another lady at the counter that it wasnt working, she sent GEORGE BALL to check it out and confirmed it wasnt working he then switched us to another room which was nice and cool. He got us situated within 30 mins… I appreciate his help, awesome guy. Thanks to him we slept comfy and cool. Bartender was awesome as well, nice lady.
