I rented a truck from the Lazy Lane location in Austin. Nicollet was very helpful and friendly. The rate was fare and I would definitely use this truck rental again and will recommend it.

I have been an Enterprise customer for many years, but this is the first time I usedtheir truck rental. It was awesome. Great service great information that I needed to know and a great vehicle.

I was given a choice : a mini van (with gas prices over $4.29), a Chevy Equinox with mildew tires and no treads, or a Chevy Equinox that was filthy!!! Mind you, I requested a car, while my Nissan car is being repair through my insurance… Out of all the Enterprise’s in Austin…. I wish I would have took my car to a different Nissan dealership so I wouldn’t have been forced to deal with this Enterprise!!!!! Never again!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

Thank you to everyone at this location for helping me expedite a truck rental so I wouldn't miss an important meeting. Shout out to Michael and Ivan for putting the customer first. We had a reservation through State Farm for a compact/intermediate vehicle for our daughter. Enterprise put her in an SUV bc a smaller vehicle wasn’t available. She was ASSURED the 23$/day rate for the intermediate vehicle. After 21 days we are now being told that we were being charged at $41/day. We’ve reached out to customer service who literally put us back in touch with the same store manager. We asked for a regional manager, and store manager called to tell us WE ARE INCORRECT & that bc Enterprise has *an abundance of customers, they don’t have to be concerned with customer service. WHAT??!! Enterprise escalation dept at the customer service 800# also verified that indeed— if the proper size vehicle wasn’t available & they had to upgrade her, that the original quote rate should have applied. We have repeatedly asked for the REGIONAL MANAGER to contact us. David- the Branch Manager emphatically states that she didn’t have to take the car -(as she was nervous driving such a large car) but she was never given another choice. David then tried to tell us that State Farm said her rental reservation was for an SUV,so we called State Farm for clarification and State Farm clarified that the reservation was for an intermediate. When we got DAVID on the phone all of a sudden his reservation screen changed to SUV/intermediate. I don’t think you have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what happened.

This used to be a great location and I have been renting trucks from them for over 10 years on an average of 10-15 trucks per year. They are now under new management and evidently a reservation no longer guarantees you a truck. I called to reserve a truck and called multiple times leading up to the reservation to verify. The morning I showed up I was told there was no truck for me. The managers exact quote was, "Nowhere in my notes does it say I promised you a truck." I guess a reservation means diddly squat at this location now. This has now happened more than once. I no longer recommend this location.

I made a reservation online for a truck 1 week before the pickup date. Received an email confirmation with a reservation number. 2 days later Enterprise called to tell me they don’t have a truck and there’s nothing they can do. Now I’m left scrambling to find a truck. That’s poor customer service.Update: I emailed per the response below and still have no resolution. A “territory manager” was supposed to call me two days ago. That never happened. Stay clear of this place. I ended up renting from Longhorn rentals where reservations have meanings.

We needed a Ram 2500 since ours was in the shop. They supplied it and helped us save some money! Since we kept it for a week, they made sure we got the better weekly rate instead of the daily. Thanks again!

RENTERS BEWARE!!! THIS LOCATION DOES NOT PROPERLY MAINTAIN THEIR FLEET!Was given an unsafe dodge promaster van that I had to use 3 days of vacation time to trouble shoot and shuffle it around Louisville, Kentucky before I could safely drive back to Austin. Initially was supposed to make a quick 5 day trip but worked from a relatives house for a couple days until I could get the van to the point I felt safe driving it 1000 miles home.Alignment and balance were off causing steering wheel to shake and a really strong pull to the left that had me white knuckle gripping the steering wheel every time a semi-passed in fear of veering a lane over and dying.Was only able to drive 60mph before pull and shake got too bad, so what was supposed to be a 16 hour drive ended up taking 22 or more hours.They discounted some of the total but should have comped the entire cost after the headache and hazardous situation they put me in. I wouldn't have left a review, or would have left 5 stars had they offered a full refund. I wasted 3 days of vacation time sitting in ken towery waiting rooms because they failed to maintain this van.Disgusting customer service.
