I’ve had a really good experience moving in to Extra Space Storage - it’s soooo much better than the previous company I used. It’s really clean and well-maintained, just as nice inside as it looks outside. I feel completely safe being there on my own, which is also rare in my experience of storage spots. & Mason was especially helpful all around!

Amazing experience with Extra Space Storage, especially with Stephen, the manager at 1000 E 50th St in Austin!
While moving on a Sunday, my first storage space fell through, so I had to quickly find a second storage place that same day. I was able to find a space with Extra Space Storage at 1000 E 50th quickly and easily through the customer service portal.
When I got the the storage locker, however, there was no lock (as a tenant had moved out late the night before). This is when the manager, Stephen, went above and beyond -- he came to give me a lock on his day off (even after my insistence that I could wait until the next day, he said he preferred to be safe than sorry).
I am so grateful for Stephen's patience and willingness to come help me on a Sunday, his day off, with a smile and understanding attitude. Stephen also demonstrated a lot of care for the safety of my and the other tenants' belongings when he fixed an issue with the sliding doors at the storage location right away. 10/10 service and an incredible manager -- thank you Stephen!
