don’t rent here unless you have no respect for yourself and your property, these people are awful and the facilities are filthy and have no carts, sketchy people follow you around and you have to keep your door locked any time you’re out of eye sight (like loading your vehicle)
final review update:
i am never renting from extra space storage again. the man in the office is rude and unprofessional. i ended up moving out a month earlier than i planned after i attempted to get the person in the office to address a security concern and i was met with being laughed at. when i said it wasn’t funny as i had been assaulted here prior he rolled his eyes and said “oh you’re THAT customer”
Immediately following that horrible response i booked a uhaul to get out of there by the end of the weekend, and they want to argue with me over text that they’re not “unprofessional”. the entire time i was moving out someone was lingering by the elevator trying to get me to let her use my door code i told her no several times, i was already moving out due to safety concerns so i guess at least my final day continued to confirm the lack of safety/security here
edit again to add: was unable to access my unit during hours i should have been able to, posted hours are 6am-10pm i was unable to enter the facility at 10:30am, no one answered my calls and i was unable to access my property when i needed to.

i was just assaulted by another tenant at 10am on this property, the man attempted to take my television while assaulting me.

Very easy to set up. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend extra space storage. Move in and move out was a breeze; Jared was extra helpful.

Rent was raised over 30% in just over two months. Be careful, your stuff will essentially be held hostage given you don’t want to deal with moving it twice.

Extra Space at 5656 N. I-35 in Austin was very professional and efficient throughout the move-in and move-out process!

Austin was great at making sure our move out was successful and assisted my girlfriend with cutting her lock. He also answered all of our questions and assisted me with my trash. Asides from Austin the rest of the team is also amazing. The store manager Tara and her assistant manager are also really great!
