I booked this reservation as a Bonvoy Member through their app. Hotel is still under renovation on the first floor with no bathroom. I booked a king bed room that did not have a microwave nor a mini fridge. Room was not adequately furnished with the necessary toiletries. There were no bathrobes, no extra blankets in the room. No vending machines for ice on the second floor.
Rooms: Room was furnished with two large TVs, one sofa bed and one king bed.
Noteworthy details: This facility is still under renovation on the first floor.

The hotel was apparently renovating although this isn't mentioned anywhere unless you notice all the construction items in the parking lot. Our room had new paint and new carpet, which is hard to complain about. They must have painted that day as there still the smell on the entire floor. No fridge, no trash can, no side tables in our room. The fold out couch was still strapped closed from the factory (we had to cut the straps) and remove the plastic from the mattress. The artwork was still leaning on the floor. We asked for a new room but were told every room on the 2nd floor was in the same condition. We paid for 100% of a room but don't feel like we got 100% of a room. Breakfast was supposed to be 6-9 but ran out of food by 820. Not a good stay.

This review is an addition to my previous review regarding our recent issues with check in. I reached out to the hotel manager regarding the situation and she replied in a very prompt, professional, and understanding manner, offering a full refund of the amount that I paid for the room I didn’t get to use. I will give this property another chance because of her kind consideration.

**Reserved online for a price. Got to hotel and was charged $60 more. Tv in room was small, can’t connect by airplay because it’s not a smart tv. bathroom was clean.
**We found candy on the floor and a used sock by the bed.
**wifi is around 5mbps.
:-( Don’t recommend. There’s better places for the same price that won’t over charge.

Rooms are terrible. There's a stench that won't go away. The room itself actually doesn't have lights. They instead have lamps without the lamps there is no light. The bathroom doesn't have a vent. Renovation may be an excuse because this place has been under Renovation for years. The big positive for me is the staff the staff is friendly and nice but that's it. I do not recommend this place. This is the worst Marriott I've ever been to.

Stayed one night otw to San Antonio, and stayed 1 night on the way back. Both check in experiences with 2 different ladies were unpleasant and fell short of standard. I will pay more to stay elsewhere going forward.
And the hotel isn’t even on par with most budget level hotels. Tiny TV, older FFI design, pool is full of boxes and equipment, tiny sad barebones fitness, below budget breakfast…
The only thing good about this place is the room was clean and it is centrally located to most of the city…but at the very least get the easiest part of hospitality right by providing a pleasant welcome…no one wants to drive through traffic in the hot summer and deal with a GSA hassling a guest with an unpleasant attitude.
I miss the days of skip the desk check in

I was very happy with our stay. From the check-in, the room cleanliness, amenities and breakfast. There was some renovations going on but we hardly noticed. The only thing I had to complain was if you were coming off the freeway you better be ready to make a couple of quick lane changes and a sharp turn otherwise you have to drive around and try again.

No additional towels available. No blanket available for pullout sofa. Sofa bed uncomfortable and stained. Shower only got slightly warm but never hot. Check in front desk attendant was not welcoming. No complimentary water offered or in room. Humid/damp feeling room. Leak from the ceiling. Hotel also under construction in hallways but not noted on website.

We were pleasantly surprised with the bathroom. Our room had a new faucet and shower. For the low price, we were expecting to get what we paid for. They have recently renovated the bathrooms and they even put a new carpeting. It is still an older hotel, but it was exactly what we needed. Check out the Amaya Mexican restaurant next-door… Another pleasant surprise!

TV didn't work employees seem like foreigners I could be wrong but it looks like furnace may be taken over this location my TV didn't work they didn't want to compensate me didn't want to put me in another room no microwave in the room I won't ever stay here

The beds that they have in this hotel will make you never want to leave I had the best night sleep of my life I highly recommend you go check it out if you're in town on a visit

Noteworthy details: The front desk person " Johnathan " is nothing less than amazing. Friendly, Knowledgeable, Courteous, and all great employee.
I will come back and recommend this Hotel to outhers.
