One of my very favorite places in Austin! I rarely leave without some little treasure. It's a great spot for a more personalized and thoughtful gift. I have found some of the coolest art here! The staff is so nice and helpful - always greeting you when you walk in. If you buy more than one item you are usually walking out with a deal!

This place has a TON of cool stuff at very reasonable prices. Some things are even negotiable ?. Lots of cool furniture, vintage clothing, plants and cool potting supplies, vintage nick nacks… definitely worth the time to check it out

Was pretty great a few years ago, despite the undeniable store odor. But in recent visits I’ve discovered the pricing system seems to have gone from reasonable thrifty vintage to confusing antiquey vintage. Is definitely still a unique spot though. Really wish they would put the prices on the items at least!

So fun looking at all the unique pieces here. I would definitely recommend this store over Uncommon Objects in terms of price. Far Out Home Fittings has really neat and unique objects for a fraction of the price of what you pay just down the street at Uncommon Objects. Great for vintage furniture, paintings, dishes, and home decor.

Stopped by this place for the first time today and had a great experience! Super cool selection of stuff and reasonable prices. The employees went above and beyond to show me some rugs and even loaded up my car for me. 10/10!

Far Out is my favorite place in Austin to look for antique, vintage, and unique pieces. Every time I'm in the area I stop by and there's cool new stuff, it's always changing. We've gotten vintage stereo speakers (excellent condition & sound), the most comfortable leather love seat recliner, several large ceramic planters, and a stainless steel pocket knife. Great deals to be had, and the owners & employees are so nice, especially for putting up with my bargaining!
