The clothing was right from my cuildhood. It is a quaint & upscale clothing store. Real concert t-shirts, soft and beautiful cotton. Oscar de Larenta dress, Cher style leather jackets snd jeans. Beautiful real & costime jewelry. The costume jewelry then was of such great quality, hands diwn better than what is made now. Sterling silver, gold, turqoise (real) not crunched up treated junk. What a find! Staff was sweet. They purchase vintage items as well.

I set an appointment to sell a pair of vintage Levi's, and the owner offered a trade and said to look around. I found the same exact pair except the length was different and tried them on, and they fit great. I was happy to do the trade and the owner was really hyping up how it's a great deal. I took the jeans up front and we both compared - they were literally the same in quality, color, and size. However upon receiving my receipt after signing, the owner said "Okay, you owe $49." And I was very surprised because I did not realize I would have to pay so much to do an equal trade. I did buy the pair, mostly because we were practically done with the process and did not want to look silly for misunderstanding. Overall, a disappointing experience. Would not recommend "trading".

This place has the best vintage north, east, south and west of the Rio Grande! I am a long-time vintage collector and I have been to many vintage shows and vintage boutiques throughout years - so I DO know good vintage. Feather's has EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD vintage and unbelievably fair prices! I started shopping here years ago when the store had just opened and since I moved back to Texas more recently I've outfitted over half of my closet with treasures from Feather's! I've found some gorgeous and rare pieces there and I almost always leave with a pair of ridiculously cool jeans. I also personally know the owner and she is SO nice, SO knowledgable, and has KILLER TASTE!! I'm always totally delighted with the staff and I love supporting this amazing small business that makes Austin special!

this place has some of the best vintage pieces. Anytime I’m in town, I stop by. However, the staff is so unhelpful & rude. Was there a few weekends ago for my birthday weekend & fell in LOVE with some (really justifiably expensive) jeans. Unfortunately… due to the nature of our interaction, or lack there of, with staff- the person who was going to purchase these jeans for me wanted to leave empty handed. Wish the owner was in-store more!

My personal experience with Feathers has been a long one. It’s by far the best vintage store in Austin. The way it is curated and put together is inviting in itself. The employees and owner are kind and will help you with what you’re looking for. You’re bound to find something you love. I still have items from 10+ years back. I can’t wait to visit them when I go to Austin. Best selection, and I’m particular about vintage.

Feathers has been my favorite boutique for as long as I can remember. This shop was one of my favorite parts about living in Austin / working on SoCo. Since moving - I’ve been shopping via Instagram & online to satisfy my feathers addiction! The owner is super sweet and has impeccable taste. Customer service & styling is always top notch - This is the best vintage shop in the world. Seriously. Check it out! It’s ridiculously cute and perfectly curated.

One of the secret gems of Austin. My favorite place to find unique pieces and some of the best vintage tees. They constantly have new vintage arrivals so stop in often. The girls working are so nice and even made friends with my kids. They give Feathers a 10 out of 10 - would highly recommend. We always stop by the store when we’re on SOCO.
