Great gym in South Austin! Predominantly a lifting gym but didn't have any issues finding space to do body weight/other exercises. Run by Veterans but inclusive to all. As a woman, I've never had a problem here. Everyone was respectful and helpful when/if asked. Front desk spotter José is a chill guy. Mostly white people if that's important to you. The owner, James, is responsive to emails and will even get more/new equipment for all to use if requested by gym-goers. They listen to their patrons and occasionally have social events. Also, there's a good blend of lifters and people with their trainers so it's not as intimidating. Also, as a fat person, I never felt judged for going to Iron Vault. Either on my own or with a trainer. Everyone was basically nice and there's plenty of equipment so definitely check it out. Well-priced too! They increased rates to provide a more livable wage for their staff and there was a great response from gym members. Good vibes all around. 11/10

This is the best gym in ATX, hands down. I’ve tried other places, and came back because the communication from ownership, accountability, and availability, are top notch. The staff are awesome, and friendly.Nothing else compares. There is no substitute for the best.

Fev Gym is aFIVE ? ? ? ? ? gymSince the beginning of 2021 I have been going to that incredible gym, and I can say that it is the best gym I have been to in my entire life.I can train comfortably and effectively because the gym has a lot of quality equipment and a great environment. And many of my clients who have been training there for 1 - 2 years, when they first visited FevGym for the first time, have been fascinated with everything they saw in the gym and signed up for a membership without thinking twice.Since in the gym you can see:-Equipment ?- Cleaning and organization ?- Customer service ? (Jose, Tristan, Zach and Dorian are always very attentive, friendly and willing to help) - Environment of ?- Location of ?- It's 24 hours- Friendly competitions- A very friendly communityIn addition to the fact that the owner of the gym is a very cool and unique person, he appears in the gym as one more gym member, talks and laughs with the members, workout there, support you, and well, he is just great person because despite owning the gym he is very easy going and humble. If you are looking for a gym to workout.FEV GYM recommended x 10000And if you go you will not only be one more gym member but you will be part of an incredible community

This is the most inclusive and supportive gym I’ve ever been to. Everyone is very kind and encouraging and approachable. There is lots of powerlifting equipment available and even at peak times I’ve rarely had to wait long to use something.

I tried out a number of gyms when I first moved to Austin and felt the most comfortable at Iron Vault! The community is amazing - everyone is respectful, courteous, and genuinely supportive of one another. The gym is always tidy and organized, and I never had to wait too long for a piece of equipment. If you're interested in strength training and want a no fuss, no frills gym, I recommend checking them out!

Best gym I've ever been to. The staff are chill and always willing to help, plenty of Olympic bar and racks to go around, and the culture echoes into even the member behavior. Everyone is kind and respectful. Everyone cleans up after themselves and reracks weights. It's a community.I'm another reviewer who is moving and I'm honestly emotional about leaving FeV behind.James, thank you.

I really have enjoyed my regular visits to Iron Vault. People are pretty serious about their workouts here, but still kind and thoughtful. If I’m near a piece of equipment, folks always ask if I’m using it. Front desk/spotters are all genuinely nice. Facilities are well maintained and clean. It’s easy to tell that the owners care about this place, not something that can be said about every gym.

You couldn’t ask for a better community. Broad range of equipment. Plenty of squat racks. Clean and organized. One should take advantage of the spotters provided by the gym during business hours. It’s such a great perk provided.

I started at FeV when I was overweight, weak, and knew nothing about weightlifting, and I was incredibly nervous about joining a gym. Not only are the staff incredibly kind and welcoming, but the folks who work out at FeV are all respectful and polite.I've never had to wait for a rack in the year I've been here, and the owner and staff have kept the place open despite large scale power outages, internet outages, snow and ice.

Great gym. No bs, tons of weights, everybody is friendly, plenty of equipment. They have like 10 squat racks so you’re never waiting. Plenty of deadlift platforms too. Highly recommend this place!

5 days in but seems great. Front desk was a normal person and not an automated response receptionist like the big gyms. Proper equipment for real lifting if you were an athlete. No frills, perfect spot.

Probably the best gym I’ve been to. Tons of barbells, racks & benches. Unique equipment you don't see often like GHD and reverse hyper. Staff is always willing to help and everyone is friendly.

Great gym!Pros:- Plenty of racks and deadlift platforms. Never have to wait.- No annoying rules. Chalk is provided, no problem dropping deadlifts, etc.- Large variety of powerlifting and bodybuilding equipment including a nice combo rack- Easy check-in process and 24/7 access- Friendly staff- Plenty of parking right near the entranceSuggestions for improvement:- Replace the current benches with something nicer like Rogue flat benches. Get rid of the giant incline benches that take up space are hard to move.- Improve the flooring under the racks. Fix up the unfinished/cracking floors. Ideally use rubber flooring.- Get more Ohio Power Bars with center knurl for better security when squatting heavy- Use an organic cleaning chemical with less odor and no endocrine disruptors- Get more 10 lb plates (every rack should have 4 10s)
