Definitely recommend coming here to get your pet checked out. Dr Amy and all the assistants were so helpful and friendly. The whole place has a great vibe. Curtis was dreading the trip there but he seemed so happy on the way back home.

There aren't enough thank you's to express my gratitude for the care my pets have received from Firehouse. We ended up at Firehouse when I adopted my sweet Smokey from Georgie and her husband, who mentioned working there. When Smokey was diagnosed with Spinal Meningitis, I was provided not only the best care / recommendations for him, but also offered the care and support from myself up until his final days... and even after.I consider Georgie, Dr. Rivas, and the entire team at Firehouse part of our fur family, and will always recommend.

Dr. Rivas and the veterinary technician were amazing with my cat, Luna. She has never been so calm during an exam. She is feeling much better now, and I am grateful to Dr. Rivas for his knowledge, compassion and assistance.

Stuff was courteous. I have no issues with stuff. They answered all my questions and were helpful. The only issue I have is prices for steroid(Convenia) and for antibiotics (depo-medrol) injections. One month ago I was at 2222 veterinary clinic and prices there are $65.60(at 2222) VS $116.29(at firehouse) for Covenia injection and $31.95(at 2222) vs $89.30(at firehouse) for depo-medrol injection. It seems that firehouse has Luxury prices.... I am going to attach invoices so you may see it yourself.

When I walked in they immediately got me into a room with my cat which was great because he's nervous, the vet Dr.Ussery was awesome. He had a tooth issue and she showed me exactly where it was, and explained why it was an issue very clearly and got me a treatment plan. Great techs too. Very calm environment and great service

I'd argue that Firehouse Westlake is one of the best vet offices in Austin. I've been to several around town, and the quality of care, communication, responsiveness, etc. at Firehouse is unmatched. We especially love Dr. Weeks -- she's amazing with our animals, reasonable about level/maintenance and cost of care, and works with us to manage all the mayhem. Would recommend this office a million times over for your fur babies.

I'd give 10 stars if I could! I've been taking my girl to Firehouse since I adopted her 3 years ago and have had nothing but amazing experiences. The staff is all so smart and good with her that she loves going to the vet and visiting her friends. Nobody else I'd trust with my pup!

Great vet, very friendly and caring staff. They helped us to treat our frenchie rainbow for a UTI and most recently euthanasia for our pug Lola who after an amazing 12 years with us sadly developed a very aggressive cancer. The way they helped us and the level of service provided each time we have visited has far surpassed our expectations and we truly enjoy bringing our pets here. We will be back. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

I really wanted to like this place. As my first initial visit was amazing, but after my poor Vader's health worsened from is eye to his skin, I kept taking him in hoping they could help me solve this issue. After so much money being spent later, I tried calling them every single day trying to get answers and a plan moving forward with his skin and me talking to Dr. Bonnet letting her know my concerns and her knowing Vader has been struggling. I hate seeing my babies in pain and was willing to do anything at this point for him to not suffer anymore. I tried calling and leaving voicemails and talking to the receptionist about when will Dr. Bonnet or someone will get back to me on a plan for Vader because his skin and respiratory problems are only worsening and affecting my other cat Judah in the household. She said it could be so many things so we did plenty of tests and all came back NEGATIVE, which I already knew they would and letting her know he most likely just has a yeast infection and getting 2nd opinions from others and them agreeing with me that he does has a yeast infection. Since I have heard from nobody and since nobody wanted to speak with me, I had to take the matter into my own hands. Luckily VCA Ben White animal hospital was able to fit both my babies Vader and Judah in this upcoming Wednesday for a last minute appointment to help me out. I'm so sad and feel like how can they not care to get back to me and put Vader and Judah as a priority as they have been constantly sick! I've been doing everything they've been telling me to and nothing works! I'm so upset, as I have left voicemails crying and no one has cared to return my call nor cared the conditions my cats are in. Do NOT come to the Westlake location! They do not care about your pets genuinely, and all they care about is their money.

I had such great interactions, with everyone, the front desk folks, the vet tech, and the vet! I felt heard and educated and they took such good care of my kitty and helped me feel really certain I was taking good care of all my pets. They gave my nervous cat treats to help him calm down, and were very thorough while still patient and gentle with the little guy. A+, I will absolutely be taking all my babies here.(They even gave me a little gift bag as a new customer! Can you believe?)

Great experience with Dr. Laura Saunders. Excellent highly-skilled professional. Very knowledgeable. Took plenty of time with me and my new, soon-to-be, service dog. One of the best veterinarians I have found. EcoDog and I are extremely grateful to have Dr. Saunders as our new animal healthcare provider.

I had just the best experience here today. I travel around and don't have a primary vet in Austin and my dog had a hot spot that looked like it was getting infected. I was so stressed and was calling around to a bunch of different vets trying to get him looked at and the Firehouse team was able to offering 3 or 4 different spots that would work with my schedule. From the front office staff to the techs, to the vet everyone was EXTREMELY pleasant and made mine and my dogs experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The vet that we had took the time to really explain the pro and cons of different treatment/medicine options and worked to find a plan that was in my budget. I can not recommend this place enough.

Dr Lawton and her team were so kind and patient with my little one. They took the time needed to make her feel comfortable and safe. Will definitely return and take my other animals here!

I took my dog in for something minor that I wanted to get checked out and they were able to get me in that same day! My vet tech and doctor were amazing! They truly listened to my concerns, gave me options on what would make my doggy feel better, and when it came time for the shot, the vet tech was distracting my dog with cheese on a stick while the doctor gave her the shot in her butt lol. Although a little pricey for the shot, it was a quick in and out with great service (and I even got a cute welcome gift!) Thank you to Dr. Honning and my vet tech Kyla for helping my baby.
