Aside from the occasional noisy neighbor upstairs, our experience at Flatiron has been great. From the amenities, to the comfort, the living space, maintenance, customer service, and the frequent community events, we have really enjoy living here for the past 3 years.

Flat Iron is a very nice place to be. I stayed there at the guest suite, and it was very nice. The lease agent Janae was very help and very professional and knowledgeable. I will love to stay there again.

Flat iron is a great place to live! Not only does it have beautiful interior but the location is so convenient. Shopping, food, Austin entertainment, and so much more! The manager Michaela is awesome and has been so welcoming. If you want to live the Austin experience, flat iron is the place to be!

I highly suggest looking elsewhere for an apartment. This property has gone down hill over the last few years. If you like living in a frat house and not a professional environment, this place is for you. If your a professional, I would highly suggest not living here, unless you like to never sleep, have meetings interrupted by disrespectful loud neighbors and then have the office staff blame you for reporting your neighbor.

By far the worst community I lived in so far. Beware this community. They will price gouge you and is racist. I gave $700 deposit when I moved in to a studio and when moving out, I was only refunded less than half of that amount. When asked why, the manager Michaela Bateman started coming up with things that is normal wear and tear. when asked for photo proof, the manager starting adding item on there such as window cleaning on the outside, router??, floor (which had small dot) that is normal wear and tear due to weather, which neither of us can control.
The worst was the ozone treat, something that blows my mind because I have lived in so many places and never heard of such a thing. Basically the office charges the tenant for stuff that they are supposed to do either way when a tenant moves out. This is the first. RACIST INSULT.

Update: Finally applied to the apartment and Michaela has been incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. Changing my rating from 1 to 5 stars!
I have been interested in the Flatiron apartments since the beginning of September, as I am planning to move in during October. There are a couple of floor plans I am very interested in applying for. I understand that the apartment cannot hold a unit for more than two weeks, which is reasonable, and I can accommodate the move-in time.
However, I have exchanged multiple emails and phone calls with your office, and I’ve noticed a pattern that is causing frustration. Each time I inquire about specific apartment details (including apartment numbers), I receive no response regarding availability, and the price on the website continues to increase daily—especially for the units I’ve asked about.
I really want to move in and would appreciate better communication from your team to avoid price increases without proper answers to my inquiries. I understand that prices fluctuate based on demand and market conditions, but I would prefer to receive timely responses so I can apply before further price changes occur, rather than being left without information and seeing prices rise.

Highly recommend the flat iron because of the nice apartments and awesome apartment staff! I have lived in the domain over 5 years at almost every apartment , and the flat iron is by far the best. Jenny helped us with our apartment move in and made the process so easy. Janay and Jenny are a great team I look forward to getting coffee at Medici every morning and them greeting me. Everyone is so friendly and they make it like a family atmosphere. The apartments are always clean and the interior is so nice. The office management means a lot to us because living in other places in the domain where they neglect everything or act like they don't care Jenny and Janay do the complete opposite and make sure we are always taken care of. If you are looking to move to the domain choose the flat iron.
