I've been taking lessons with Fred Astaire Austin for almost 2 years. My wife and I started with wedding dance lessons, but quickly decided we wanted to continue with ballroom lessons too. It's such a welcoming and social environment - Meg, Jorge, Cindy and Gio are patient teachers and highly knowledgeable of the main dances. They always have your back, but most importantly make learning to dance FUN! They give the best cards with words of encouragement before an event. You won't find a more enjoyable studio in Austin - there's a reason they win most spirited studio at comps!

Fred Astaire Austin is a great place for beginners to learn the basics and those with more experience to improve their dancing. The instructors are knowledgeable, extremely patient, and full of positive energy and encouragement. The best surprise to me was how welcoming and supportive the community of staff and students are - most are either beginners or remember what it was like when they started. What could be an intimidating experience is instead very supportive and encouraging!

We started at the studio to learn a dance for our wedding. We stayed because it is so much fun. In a year, we have learned 8 dances confidently. Great instructors who really listen to your needs and lots of fun events!

We started taking lessons the end of 2019 in preparation for our daughter's wedding. Almost 5 years later, we are still here!!!! The instructors are amazing and patient teachers. Their love of dance really shows. This studio has something for everyone - lessons, group classes and fun events, all designed to improve your dancing. Highly recommend!!!!

We have been going for lessons for the last month+. Gio and Meg are excellent instructors. They do a great job explaining/showing the dances, are very patient, and very encouraging. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and they organize fun activities to practice the different dances.

I came to Fred Astaire Austin to try something new and have had the absolute best time. I’ve been coming for a while now and have always felt welcomed and encouraged by not only the coaches but the community as well. Their teaching style makes it easy to learn and build upon each week. All the instructors are amazing and supportive. Giovanni is ours and patient, young, enthusiastic and passionate about dance! I love the family atmosphere and location. If you have always wanted to tey dancing take the plunge and try out a lesson!!
