They did an excellent job fixing my PS5 with multiple failing components on the motherboard. Very grateful, and I would not trust anyone else to do a skilled job like that.UPDATE: Excellent service even months later. Faced an issue and they fixed it within a day.

I had a late night pc build emergency and Liam totally saved my bacon! Bought a refurbished case from microcenter, and they didn’t include the screws used to affix the motherboard to the standoffs, and Liam hooked me up with exactly what I needed right before closing!

When I say the Best that is an understatement. These guys (Sorry didn’t get names) were amazing again. This is my second time they have repaired my PS5. Not expensive and fast as a rumor being spread. Great service all around which is rare these days. I’ll recommend to anyone. They Rock

I messaged them through google to request a quote on a service I might want and they estimated a very reasonable price and got back to me VERY quickly! (Edit: The price seemed very reasonable too!) My device still works, but now I know I can go to them if it stops working down the line. They also seem to have some refurbished consoles at better prices than I see online!

Whatever you do, DO NOT take your controller here for repairs now. I don't know if management has changed in the past two years but I had previously sent my Xbox Elite controller in for stick drift and it was fixed with no issues and sent back to me. After another two years of play (Pretty long for an Elite Controller) it started to get some stick drift again, as well as some buttons not responding. So I figured I would send it back to these guys because of the phenomenal job they did previously...I sent it in, and after about a month I call to see what the status is and they said they had a lot to work on currently, and it would be awhile longer. No big deal, I get it, I'm glad they are busy so they continue to stay in business. About another month goes by without any communication, and finally I get a Paypal invoice for $60. I pay it and wait for my controller...still no communication from them. The controller arrives and not only was the stick drift worse than when I sent it in, now the back bumpers do not work at all. So I call and leave a pretty snarky voicemail on a Saturday to complain. I will admit it was a bit of a rude voicemail, but no cursing or anything like that.I get a call from a guy saying how the store isn't even open yet and how he is calling me from his house (being the top tier employee that he is) to talk about my controller...yeah man, that's why I left a voicemail, that's what it is used for. Then he proceeds to go on a 10 minute rant about how Elite controllers are POS from China and how they are such a pain to work on, and how he is so great because he has been soldering for 18 years and plays on an ESports team. And how his $20 LogiTech mouse works fine, ok cool dude...I didn't need your life story but I'm glad I can write your biography now.So after his rant he says he isn't going to fix it and will just refund my money...ok that's all I wanted because I definitely am not shipping it back to you now.I take it to a local UBreakIFix, and they tell me the back bumpers don't work because whoever "fixed" it before never installed the cable to connect the back PCB to the main board and it would be $50 to fix, and also the stick drift soldering was so bad they would need to order an entirely new module. At that point it would be cheaper to just buy a new elite controller. Which is a shame because mine was a GOW4 Special Edition, that I have had with me for years now.All in all, yeah Elite Controllers develop stick drift pretty quickly and are wayyy too expensive for their quality, so I can agree on that...but don't berate your customer for their taste in controllers or how they prefer to play their games.Simply say you do not fix Elite Controllers because you can't solder/fix them correctly and you will forget to connect all of the cables upon reassembly.18 years of soldering experience apparently isn't enough.EDIT:Well, if their response tells you anything, the people running this place are the most toxic part of the gaming community. Resort to name calling and berating. No only are they toxic towards their customers, but also people with mental disabilities apparently? Not sure, how they arrived at the conclusion I would be on the spectrum from asking for a refund about their terrible craftsmanship but, I guess that's how it works at this place. Not only can't they admit they couldn't fix the controller and left out an important cable, but they blame shipping for it.Their attention to detail is what is hilariously bad. The "Repair Ticket" they commented on this review is from 2018...not even the one I just sent in.

I called to inquire about tax exemption for a visit for my youth group. Elijah was nice, but Chris was incredibly rude.I could hear him yelling at Elijah that it would be too much work for him to accommodate our youth organization and business, and other choice words.Edit:Within 30 minutes of my review posting I received a call from Chris.Rude, belligerent, and aggressive. Complained about the negative review and that he couldn't care less about our youth group.

My son’s Oculus had an error code so I dropped it off at Game Republik. I was told I would have an update within a week. I had to call every week for four weeks to follow up and was told the same thing each week, that they hadn’t had a chance to get to it yet. Each time I called, I spoke to unfriendly staff members that were completely unbothered by the fact that they had been taking much longer than was initially promised. After four weeks, I received a call and was told that there was no fix, and that my only option would be to re-purchase a new oculus. I am so grateful that I ended up taking it to UBREAKIFIX for a second opinion because after one week, and $30, they did a factory reset in my sons Oculus was working just fine! I can’t recommend UBREAKIFIX enough. If it wasn’t for them, this single mom would’ve been in a huge bind having to purchase a brand new oculus when it was not needed at all!

I'd give them one star.....if they sucked......but like.....they tots DON'T. Best bargain. Best service. Best efforts. My gaming PC is a real challenge for most places due to it's aluminum chassis being a unique small form factor. It's the Corsair ONE, their very first gaming PC from 2016. To get the latest model I would've had to shell out well over what I even bought this one for but GR was able to fully upgrade my Corsair ONE at a much more reasonable cost. Not even Corsair was willing to do what GR did for me. Now I've jumped from circa 2016 gen tech to today's and I'm future proofed for another 4-6 years. Five stars all damn day, 24/7, 365.

Considering all I have for gaming devices are Nintendo handhelds, I have had a humiliating need for multiple repairs in the last few years. But these guys have fixed everything incredibly well. But I have to take a point off because I couldn't get responses to my emails over and over asking for help with my dvd player. Something is odd that it was ignored. I eventually had to fix it myself.

My son has been without his game (PS5) for months now. We had to let him be without it a bit to learn to cherish things a little more. However, yesterday we dropped off his game later in the night and it was fixed like nothing ever happened within an hour. Our son literally woke up, saw it at about 1 am and snuck on it until about 3 am on a school night. I know that's bad but he has a half day today and we know what he will be doing after school today. We appreciate you all and the great service.

Best PC repair place in Austin-period. My computer was giving me the hardest time for 9 months and these guys figured out the issue with the greatest diligence and skill I could ever hope for. It's not my thing, but they also appear to have a gaming center and snacks to buy too, so If someone is looking for a place to play games and chill it's definitely worth a look. But yeah, overall-Great place! Great people!
