I just left this place they had the door locked at 7pm contrary to the sighn in the window saying they close at 8.the team members looking at my self and others trying to get in my advice is order from Amazon lol no wonder these stores are circling the bowl .

Every time I call it just rings. Either the phone is broken or they’re willfully ignoring all phone calls. Please look into this.

It disappoints me to write this review because I have worked at this GameStop and have been going here for 15+ years. However, it is very bad now. Constant boxes and crap out, most staff don’t even engage or they’re on the phone watching a video or talking with someone, plus bad social skills. Their inventory is booty and rarely ever stocked. The biggest complaint goes to corporate because they clearly don’t offer enough in benefits and pay so they’re short staffed often or have a lot of turnover. Regardless, this location and many of the others in Austin are a disgrace. They probably won’t exist in the next decade because instead of providing a quality experience in stores they focus on money grabbing with PSA, crypto and whatever other bullshit helps the shareholders that that evidently hurt employees and consumers. RIP.

A shell of what it used to be. A surprising lack of used games on the wall compared to what I remember being there. On top of that the connecting corridor to Barnes and Noble seems to be permanently closed. Employee was kind and friendly though.

Harassed to sign up for whatever membership program they've created to ensure repeat visits. Told employee I don't patronize enough to warrant signing up multiple times, and was informed he was trying to "help me out". Seemed as if they have a quota and will relentlessly attempt to persuade. Will not return.
