What a scam--Shady business practices here. It's bad enough that they won't let you cancel over the phone and you have to physically go into the gym, but they charge you for another 30 days after you cancel just to squeeze every last dime they can out of you. Wish I'd canceled when golds started going down the toilet after covid-- won't ever do business with these people again.

Plenty of machines. Separate room for stretching. You can sign up for exercise classes. Dry male and female dry sauna. Trainers if needed to get started.

This gym is not vey good lately it’s been a drag to work out here Ac is Always broke why do I pay for this I’ve coming here for 14 years and member for longer I pay my dues for this it’s Unbearable somebody needs to complain to corporate because this is getting ridiculous. Every time I come in this AC is broken specially when you’re working out can’t even think straight so damn hot in here.

Positives:
- Good equipment.
- great concept 2 rowers in side fitness room that is often empty when no classes are scheduled
- some fun equipment outside. Not for summer time but great rest of the year
Negatives:
- Music is too loud all the time.
- They only allow small backpacks with strings on floor and I have a small backpack that is as small or smaller than those, but it doesn’t have strings. It should be the size of the pack, it shouldn’t matter if it’s strings or straps. How weird.
- Bathrooms are pretty dirty / gross most of the time
- Water fountain often has a bunch of water around or under it

One of my favorite places to lift, ? the staff is always so welcoming specially Roxanne, she is super helpful in anything I need or ask, I love her vibe ? a good thing to start the morning lift! ? she always made my day!

Changed from 4 to 5 stars. It really is the best commercial gym I've been to in Austin, and I like the more laid back vibe. The manager responds to feedback and seems to be genuinely interested in what the customers have to say.

Went to this Golds a couple weeks ago. The staff was really nice and helpful, he asked any questions I had. Love the old school feel to the gym. A lot of free weights and machines.

This Southeast Austin gold's gym location has been in this strip mall for over 20 years.
It has everything you need and it's right off of I-35 so if I'm in the area passing through it's always a good option.
It is a little bit outdated compared to some of the other ones so I wouldn't make this your home base but the staff is friendly and if you have the multi gym membership this will definitely serve your needs and have all the equipment that you're used to. It might not have a lot of the new cardio equipment or special equipment but you can definitely get a solid workout in if that's your goal!

I went in person to cancel my gym membership in May, and they continued to charge me until November. Called them and informed them about it. They charged me for the month of December. I should have paid more close attention to my bank statements and caught it before hand.

This gym is awesome! Very nice and clean I’m always greeted by the staff at the front when I enter. Ive had personal training with Genesis for one year now she is awesome cares a lot about her clients and she won’t let you quit on yourself! Sauna is great and the classes they offer rock!
