It is way too packed at all time. You will much likely to be waiting for a turn in most of the basic equipments. Unless you are a morning person or doing mainly cardio, I do not recommend you to come to this gym.

I have been a member of this gym for 5 years and have generally had a positive experience. However, one area where they fall short is in communicating about membership cancellations. It is crucial to ensure that you speak to a knowledgeable manager or staff member before signing up to understand the cancellation process. It is also important to request documentation of your cancellation to avoid any issues.Unfortunately, there is a lack of support to address any fees or problems that may arise with cancellations, so it is essential to communicate with management directly. I personally did not receive accurate information about my membership cancellation, so I advise others to be cautious and proactive in this regard.

Edit: I don't need to be challenged to a meeting. Just walk around and actually maintain your equipment. I'm already doing my part by paying for a membership.Decent gym crowd wise and there's plenty of equipment however, the maintenance on said equipment is very much lacking.

I’ve been a member of Gold’s since 2006. In the last few years, its quality has significant declined. This particularly location SUCKS. The AC is bad. Who wants to work out in a warm indoor gym? The water from one water fountain is warm, so always a long line by the ONE other water fountain. The showers water pressure is CRAP. And NOT NEARLY ENOUGH equipment to accommodate the crowds. People have become rude fighting over equipment.

Male employees hanging around the men’s locker room staring into the showers and changing areas. Peepers maybe. Shower and change at home if you’re a dude.

One of the essential machines within the gym has not been operational for over a month. To my knowledge, there has yet to be a communicated plan for its repair or replacement. The continuity of such a situation not only impacts our training routines but also raises concerns regarding the gym’s commitment to ensuring the availability and reliability of its facilities. We, as members, deeply value the standards of service and the quality of equipment provided, as these aspects are integral to our fitness journey and overall satisfaction with Gold’s

This gym is the most overcrowded commercial gym in Austin. It is always busy at most hours of the day, it’s unusable for most people. Walking into this gym theres a high chance you won’t be able to use free weights, limited access to adjustable benches, and machines that have 2 people already waiting for them. Don’t come to this gym expecting to workout with available benches/machines/weights you need. Unfortunately it’s been this way for far too long and they haven’t fixed it yet. Giving my feedback in hopes that they take actionable measures to tackle this problem.

Great big gym space. Love the trainers here. Tons of machines, free weights and cardio machines. It does get very busy. Has sauna insidr

Brian was very personable and helpful! And Shell-Be, coach of the Gold's Fit class, was super — she helped everyone (especially me) with form and was very excited about the work and extremely encouraging. An interesting aside — the members of the class were also very welcoming and encouraging — what a great first experience!

Well equipped and clean, but this location is *always* packed. Be prepared to plan around machines/stations not being available.

The gym is clean and nice. I’m rating it 3 stars because it’s unusable half of the day. If you arrive and the parking lot is packed, just go home. No machines open, people just standing around waiting to lift.If they end up expanding, changing class rooms to more weightlifting areas, etc.. I will rate 5 stars. My membership fees have increased substantially over the past two years, and my user experience in gym has declined.

Great gym that has just about anything you could ask for (no pool, though). Always clean (though of course smells like a gym) and the crowd in the mornings is all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, which I appreciate. As the day progresses it gets busier and sometimes you have to wait a bit for a machine to open up. The staff is very friendly, especially Lina in the a.m.

I went in today with my wife around 3 and just went in to get a tour and to learn more about the gym itself. The person at the front, David was very helpful, informative, and respectful! He informed us about the rates, made us feel really welcomed, and explained the perks that come with being a member. Really excited about this gym and keeping this at the top of our list!
