This was dirtiest, smelliest bins I’ve ever been to! It was gross! And it’s horribly managed. Everything in there is just filthy. And there’s hundreds of people in there lined up with all of the carts filled just sitting there not actively shopping. Somebody needs to come in there and do a complete overhaul. For a town like Austin, this is a disgrace.

Used to love this place but not it’s not worth it for anything but clothing. Before any item weighing above I think it was 7lbs would be priced individually. Now it’s all by weight, a carpet cleaner rang up for $52 which is absolutely insane. What made it worse was the cashier lady was on her phone with her headphones throughout our entire interaction and not only was she blatantly rude she proceeded to complain about me to her friend in my face which was kinda hilarious in a shocking the audacity of this woman kind of way.

2025 pricing changes hit an absolute sour note.
If you purchase clothing exclusively, the changes are not that bad. If however, you are more of a treasure hunter; the once fabled "bins" are virtually dead to us. I could easily rant about an untested e-scooter ringing up at $48! Lol. Etc.
Instead, I'll just hope along with you, my fellow rescuers of the forgotten that they fix the pricing calamity soon. Shall I continue?

Really disappointing media is not grouped with books now. I end up paying more than I do in the retail stores because some items are 2 pounds just by default. It doesn’t seem to go with the initiative of keeping items out of landfills as they are up charging on these items more then retail, when this is suppose to be post retail.

People running like it's black Friday, actually insane behavior from adults at a Goodwill. You can tell the workers are over it but management probably doesn't care enough to do anything about it. If you feel the need to RUN inside a Goodwill for something, you seriously need to reconsider your life choices 😂

I'm in 🫨 shock. I'M DISAPPOINTED.This outlet was a good idea to find A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH. My last visit was in September. MEANWHILE I went this Sunday ( November 10/2024), and today (November 11/2024). I saw only clothes in the bins and People running like freaking kids. There's no rules on this place 🤷. It's the first time that I don't buy anything.

The new management has ruined this store.
This store used to be good to bring family and find cool stuff for the house.
Whole lot of the regulars say that management takes all the good items and gives to friend customers.
I came on tuesday and Wednesday and was saddened to witness with my own eyes the crazy side deals they make.
I randomly checked reviews and was shocked how many others have said same thing and yet nothing has been changed.
I will never donate here ever again, if all the quality items are just gonna be given away to greedy resellers and not help community like I thought.
Might see if daughter in law can contact local news to possibly shed light on this ridiculous situation.

very on par with other thrift store outlets. a successful bins trip is all in how u prep!
i always bring: gloves, an ikea bag, headphones, comfy shoes, my measurements and a fabric measuring tape.
Arrive early! Masks are also great bc sometimes dust or bad smells are in your face. Some folks wear tight fitted clothing so they can slip things on over their clothes to try them on, i personally dont just bc germs. Expect crowds, no free carts and staff thats usually only focused on maintaining the rowdy crowds. Dont neglect the “looked through” bins, either! Imo the best bins trip is a slow steady one where you avoid the crowds and “fresh” bins as much as possible.
if you’ve got all this and some patience, then you’re sure to find some treasures here :)

People squat on carts all day so there is limited to no supply of carts. Children literally running unattended. Won’t go back..did actually go back a year later..it’s worse and apparently they offer free childcare. One kid was digging through the bins and cut her hand. I felt bad. This has to stop.

Female employee with an attitude stated we had to wait 5 minutes before we could look through the new bins because the group before us ran.
