I bought a book off Amazon here and it got delivered to the jail my boyfriend was at in Mississippi but the jail never gave it to him, they won't return my calls, and it wasn't in his property. I have been asking goodwill to help me and they just keep asking the same questions over and over again that I have already answered. 0/10 would not recommend.

I've shopped at Goodwill for many years, in person, looking for fun treasures. Today all they have their is junk and they send the rest of their stuff to auction for people to bid on because of their greed. The employees are overworked and underpaid and in my opinion this is not a real non-profit organization. Again, my opinion only, this is a corporate slaughterhouse!!!

Great job if you’re looking for a second chance job. And if you are looking for something that you can learn on the training.

My experience with Goodwill was horrible. From the front desk people how they answer the phone with attitude too the placement helpers (Samantha Rios)(Stephanie Bauer)(Jeremy Hunt)(Natalie Campbell)do not go out there way too help you. From not calling you back too help you with jobs you have too go beyond your means too call them. Then last they want you too accept any job they offer you! Very rude and inconsiderate.

Talking with someone made me seem more like an inconvenience to them than anything else. Last time I ever try to call over the phone just to be rushed off the phone. I apologize for calling in the first place. It won't happen again.

Everything is over priced at this goodwill. I bought a Motorola bar stool and I thought it was $7.95 but turns out to be $14.95. The bar still was filthy and could of at least been wiped down by employees. I spoke to a manager about getting a discount on it for being so dirty. The manager told me they do not "clean" any items no matter how dirty they are. Very poor customer service. The only reason I bought it completely filthy and over priced because my grandpa worked at Motorola at the Oakhill location for over 20 years and it brought back memories.

The worst and the most unprofessional front desk staff I have ever encounter over the phone. If you do not like your job, why bother coming to work. There are plenty of kind people who like to serve the community. I want to give 0 review but there is no 0

Dear Goodwill Management,
I am writing to report an incident that occurred during my recent visit to the South Austin Goodwill store, involving a manager named Heather. My experience was extremely disappointing and troubling, and I believe it warrants immediate attention from your management team.
Today, my son and I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a toy. Upon discovering a damaged toy that did not work properly, I approached the cashier to inquire about the possibility of receiving a discount due to the item's condition. During this interaction, Heather, who I later learned is a manager at the store, intervened in a manner that was both unprofessional and rude.
Heather insisted on being part of the conversation, questioning the validity of my request for a discount. When I explained the situation to her, she dismissed my explanation as insufficient, implying that I needed to provide a more acceptable reason. I pointed out that other customers were not required to justify damaged items they wished to purchase, nor were they subjected to the same level of scrutiny.
Furthermore, during my time in the store, I witnessed Heather's disrespectful behavior towards her employees. She spoke to them in a demeaning manner, treating them as if they were less than human. This kind of conduct not only reflects poorly on Heather as a manager but also on Goodwill as a whole.
As a loyal customer who values the mission and values of Goodwill, I find it deeply concerning that someone like Heather is in a leadership position within your organization. Employees should be treated with dignity and respect, and customers should not be subjected to unnecessary scrutiny and rudeness.
I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to address Heather's behavior. Goodwill's reputation as a charitable and community-focused organization is at stake, and it is crucial to uphold the standards of professionalism and respect at all levels.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding the steps taken to rectify this situation.

So I have been using this facility for at least 7 years. When I was homeless,
Living in my truck in Norwood Walmart Parking lot, this was my first resource. I did ECHO intake and was on the wait-list. Throughout this time there was a "Nice Lady",( as I called her), working there. She has a caring spirit for all and genuine in her efforts to help. Today as I visited,I realized, I didn't even know her name. So as I was describing how nice a person she is,she popped up. MS. DEION, I thank you for all you do for so many. May the gates of heaven,be flooded with the spirits of those you have helped. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
