Kay gave me exactly what I asked for in a haircut. Having been a stylist myself in the early 80's I always have found communicating my needs difficult. Not with Kay ❤️ she is a great listener. Vana cut my hair and she was awesome. Great cut, friendly stylist. The service was fast, and the price was affordable.
I also appreciated that she had no judgment about me (non-binary/lgbtqia+) asking for a medium fade. Shouldn't even have to mention that in 2024 in "progressive" ATX, but I have had the opposite experience too many times.

Came to this Great Clips because the one on West William Cannon closed early today.
Had a lady name Brenda. She did a terrible job. I didn't realized how bad it was until I got to my car and really looked at it in my car mirror. One side was longer than the other.
During my cut Brenda got on her phone. She never cut hair around my ears, she also never had me look at the mirror while cutting my hair. She had my chair turned to the side or backwards. She showed me the back of my hair and I really didn't like it but she said that that's how it should look because I'm trying to grow out my hair. I came for a trim and ended with a lopsided haircut. She looked at my neck to see if it needed stray hairs cut and said I didn't have any.
I came back inside and she was in the bathroom. I asked another lady, Lulu to cut my hair and told her just to transfer the money to her account. Lulu said they couldn't do that but that she would fix my hair. Lulu evened out my hair and cut around my ears, evened out my back and also cut little back hairs.
Never go to Brenda, she is more concerned about her texts or calls than the client.
Will never return to this location, but if you do, go to Lulu.

This location definitely lies about their wait list in order to get customers. Their website said no wait, then when I arrived I was asked if I was on the waitlist. The lady who seemed to be running things couldn’t be bothered, There were 4 people in front of me and still their tablet and the website said no wait.
After 20 minutes of waiting with no end in sight and then quoting me an extra $25 just to blow dry( not style ) my daughter’s ( butt length) hair ( $85 for shampoo and blow dry only), we decided to leave.
The Southpark location has always been great!!

Friendly staff, hair is always shorter when I leave then when I arrive!
