This place was awesome, especially the guy, Zach, who gave my blowout fade. even though he didn't have the razor to do it exactly as the picture. He did it amazingly and he was patiently doing it properly and he was a good person to have a conversation with, especially since the haircut took long. If you go here, I highly recommend it and Zach is a awesome person to give you your haircut.

Today I went to the Anderson Mill/Plaza Volente Great Clips and the stylist Terrha went above and beyond!! 🩷 I have curly hair and my whole life have been only cutting the ends but this time I follow her recommendation and I'm SO HAPPY I did, she really knows what she is doing! She even took her time to explain me how to do it myself for the future cause I really love it!! Definitely returning there for her to cut my hair for now on! First time I feel somebody knows how to cut my hair and even styling it! She is really the best!

Tara and eellaterrha(i definetly misspelled her name sorryðŸ˜) were super awsome for me, and my mother, Tracy. Super friendly service, great conversation, and knowledgeable about their work. If I wasn't moving I'd come exclusively to them. Great job yall!

Dealt with Tara at other great clips, had to ask her to go back and trim areas that are a given in my cut. Then didn't even bother to blow dry the clippings off. The amount of half-assed from Tara is tiring.
****Update**** Spoke with an attentive owner, and got some stylist advice for his salons. I declined compensation because that's not what it is about. Tara just needs to show and act like she cares.... she is getting paid and people's hair doesn't grow back overnight. Mistakes are not easily fixed.

This evening, I went to the Anderson Mill/Plaza Volente Great Clips for a chemo cut. I have an IMMENSE amount of hair and had heard about their clips for kindness program where they offer a clip cut for someone facing hair loss due to chemo.
I had the stylist Tara, and she was a GEM. Clearly this was an emotional experience for me, but she heard what I wanted, gave some input, and made it an incredibly empowering albeit emotional experience. While talking about the big cut, I got teary. And she gave me time and compassion. From there, we kept it light and jovial and I laughed more during that time than I can remember in recent history.
I left with a bad ass cut and a feeling of great empowerment.
Thank you, Tara, for your attention to detail and compassion. You are a star (and i will be back once my hair starts to grow back after chemo.)
