I seriously can't believe what the Director of this HEB told me today. I was trying to return a brand new cooler I purchased last weekend. After I got it home and went to fill it, I realized it was damaged. This was annoying because I bought it for a last minute camping trip and now was without one. I live in Rockdale and there isn't a HEB. Today after a long day of working outside I stopped at the HEB on 51st before my drive back to Rockdale. I was told HEB isn't like other chain stores where you can return anything purchased at any location. What??? Richard refused the return and told me I would need to go back to the store I purchased it from. A store that was the opposite direction from where I was heading (home). A store that is 1 hour and 12 minutes from my home. This is absolutely ridiculous. Customer service and basic common sense has been replaced with corporate GREED and lack of transparency.

I had a delightful experience at my local HEB on 51st street. It feels like a treat every time I visit because of its extensive produce options, surpassing the one on 7th. Choosing a Tuesday afternoon turned out to be a smart move, as it wasn't too busy during my shopping and checkout. Everything was well-stocked, including the coffee creamer that was unavailable at my usual HEB on a previous visit. The friendly staff ensured a pleasant shopping trip, and I left with all the freshest ingredients I needed for my chicken pozole. Overall, a good and satisfying shopping experience.

Absolutely the best grocery find! Like a WF but so less expensive. Staff, og so friendly and efficient. No on phones snd actually helping customers! Woot! Has a pharmacy (also helpful staff who take time answering questions). full meat and produce area. Fresh, fresh full displays of gorgeous ripe fruit & vegetables. Aisles were stocked and so many varieties of products to choose from. Store was clean. Beautiful bakery - walked fast but looked at the confections Making podole verde & they had everything!!!! No going store to store. Ripe avocados. A huge find. Gasoline station w/ scratchers on site. Overall I was impressed. Will shopping again & take time to see what I missed

Lines for checkouts are always ridiculously long. Fish market closes too early. Parking lot is always a madhouse. Avoid this location.

I went out on a Sunday, and it was crazy hectic. My fault for going on a Sunday, but anyway, they were giving up the samples of food, some salmon, which is really delicious. I like coming here because it's always organized, and clean, and the staff is always very friendly and super nice. This H-E-B is cool because it's in the Mueller area and there's a bar next door, and a lot of other cool shopping places nearby.

I've been shopping HEB since I moved to TX in '92. It frankly is the best shopping center ever, and I've been to a bunch all over the world. This one was a recent new add to a brand new community in Mueller district. They (residents) are so lucky to have this one just walking g distance. It needs more help on the weekend, since it is always busy. I am a gigantic fan, especially of the food court, bar, and adjacent shopping plaza.

We go to this store all the time and recently saw an extreme decline in their quality of food. We have gone several times with the produce spoiling the next day. Today we found WORMS in the salmon. We called to tell them and they barely seemed to care. Super disappointed with this store.

Great selection of ready made meals for heating up and also an even easier selection of ready to eat meals by the entrance. The self check out line has drinks like Ramble $1.50. Love this H-E-B!

DO NOT... This specific H-E-B is a mess. Rude employees, extremely crowded with very little checkout staff, and minimum 30 min wait for the pharmacy. The sushi guy is smoking on the side and his counterpart has headphones in so nobody is reasonable. Tried to ask a simple question about where are the advertised items (spring rolls, etc) and the young employees will tell you "I'm new and dunno". You call them to at least report that the employee literally has headphones on and says f*ck off. Furthermore, if you order curbside they'll give you everything that is about to expire within 24-48 hours. Go to Fiesta around the corner instead of this disaster.

Let me begin by saying the staff here is the best! They just need more of them! This is a smaller store, but has a good variety of items. Produce is very good...or old and wilted/rotting. This is true with cheeses in the deli as well. Nothing worse than opening a cheese that needs a shave!Parking can be a challenge. I go to this HEB often because it's close, I love the staff , and I can usually get what I came for.

A bit too crowded with long lines to check out. But they have some nice things going on. They run several in store restaurants/food stands and then an in store bar featuring Texas whiskeys, Texas vodka (Dripping Springs) and Austin area microbrew -- all in your local HEB. Very convenient. Great for local residents. I hope this concept spreads to more HEBs.

HEB Pharmacy has gone down hill!! Had my prescription for days and didn't even call me. When I called they said waiting on doctor for your refill. I said refill it's a new prescription what are you talking about.... Then they said you insurance doesn't cover it and I said how much is it. Then they said oh wait your insurance does cover it!! After three days of waiting then they said it will take about an hour! WTF!!!!

My favorite HEB. It's super fancy, items always in stock. Has a sushi bar, cheese bar, deli, meat and seafood markets, great selection of wines and a bakery. It's well lit and feels clean. There's various restaurants near the entrance as well. When I worked near the area, I used to pick up fresh salads or packed sushi for lunch, they were always good.
