Today, after using the self-checkout, I tried to get change for a $5 bill from a cashier... Have done this many, many times for years! The cashier said that I had to go to the back of her line in order for her to change out the bill! Unbelievable!!! Thankfully, an assistant manager was standing nearby and he went to a different cashier's register to change out the bill. Hopefully, this became a learning situation for this rude cashier! Also, the parking lot for this store is frequently filthy! Also need to watch out for sharp objects.

Being a former retail manager, HEB, which is the staff/people that works there do a good job with all the moving parts! Dates, presentations, stock levels, freshness and level of staff to help are excellent! Walmart stinks at this! Hutto stores!

HEB is usually so good--this is by far the worst one I've been to. There are four elements bringing the rating down:1. Unbelievably long lines. You should expect to wait 10 minutes, unless you use the check out (then you should expect to wait at least 5).2. Unreliable stock. There have been many times where this store has been out of basics--I'm talking things like garlic bulbs and orange juice.3. Poor selection. The selection is simply much smaller than many other HEBs.4. The parking is also very bad. The store also gives off a very sketchy vibe with the security guards and aisles locked down. I avoid this store at all costs unless I'm getting something very specific (tortillas, tortilla chips or limes, all of which are high quality and inexpensive here).

NO STORE DOES MORE THAN MY H‑E‑B ! love love love that slogan. growing up and not having an h‑e‑b to now having one down the street is the best! Last time I was in the store I went to pay my bills at customers service desk and I was greeted by a polite young man, Isaiah. He greeted me with the most respect and a contagious smile and helped with every question I had. Then the next day I did a curbside pick up and my order was brought out by .... ISAIAH! wow! I asked him why they have him out here and he said we works around the store that he loves being able to work in different areas. This young man has a bright future ahead of him in retail customer service! he needs to be a manager!!! He looked and acted very polite and professional. I'm glad H‑E‑B treats their employees well! this is MY STORE. The store is getting a remodel and looking very nice and updated. i'm glad it's keeping up with Austin's new "hip" environment.

I'd really love to know who all the rotten perverts are who designed and approved the installation of the women's bathroom stalls with closed glass so you can see through them. You need to fix this. We should have privacy when using the restroom.

All H-E-B's aren't created equally.. I li e in North Austin Domain area and the HEB on Mopac and Parmer is my location. The experience is totally different, everything from the selection and feeling welcome.. As A black person walking into this location I seen the guy in the yellow shirt or hoodie wat hing me as if I was about to steal something. I guess this location has a problem with loss prevention "Stealing ". They have isles that are completely locked down it appeared to be the cosmetic and hair products... Anyways needless to say My black butt will not be going back.

There are personal staff cars being parked right in front of the entrance of the Rundberg/Lamar HEB. It disrupts flow of customers, it makes customers wonder why they can't park there and it looks terrible. Please address this ASAP.

Pros: easy curbside, decent selection, helpful employees Cons: the entire parking lot, check out wait times/lines, lack of the same items as other HEBs

This is my current neighborhood HEB. It isn't the best but it makes due. I rarely have to venture out to another HEB for out of stock items, which is a plus for me. The majority of the time I do curbside. When curbside wasn't an option I would hate shopping here! Reason are the following.... One, the parking! Two, the crowdedness of the store and the 5 checkout lanes they offer, excluding the self checkout. Three, Most of the employees including the yellow shirt personal aren't people oriented! Four, the damn grocery baskets would almost always lock on me when taking my groceries to my car(would have to park in the parking lot next to McDonald's)!

Went for just a few items..was harassed upon entry because if you don't park on grocery side of parking self checkout older lady harassed you if you cut through self checkout.. also only 4 self checkout kiosks open out of 8. Only 3 regular lines open for regular check out.. customer next to me was harassed by self checkout attendant saying she had too items to go through self checkout when they purposely only had 10 items or less lines open forcing you to wait in longer regular lines! Will NEVER come back here again. Worst Customer Service Experience at any HEB!! Won't recommend anyone to come here.

I always come here & have never had a problem , until today when i have been asking literally everyone for help & no one wanted to help me. I find a manager, & he is wearing a manager shirt ( louise ) big guy, scruffy hair & facial hair, & i ask him where something is & he wouldnt even tell me he just sat there with reina in beauty department talking, he finally says a isle to get me to leave & i come back & say it isnt there & reina starts talking loud saying 7, 7 its in isle SE VE NNNN , very sarcastically , & i go back & its still not there & i finally start to walk back AGAIN & the lady reina WHO WORKS FOR BEAUTY DEPARTMENT, starts coming at me & she still saying 7, she comes to realize it isnt even there, & doesn't say anything just standing there to follow me to keep saying different isles. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE & I WILL EVEN BE POSTING MY STORY ON SOCIAL MEDIA BECAUSE HEB HAS NEVER EVEN A MANAGER HAS EVER BEEN SO RUDE IN MY LIFE & NEITHER HAD ANY OTHER EMPLOYEES ! Im very disappointed with this location & management I NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE EXPERIENCED SUCH DISRESPECT FROM "MY" HEB I KNOW I WILL NEVER CALL THIS MY HEB AGAIN IN MY LIFE !! 0 star if i could.

Well, the current store management really wanted to 'whitewash' things. They painted the walls white and removed the multilingual signs from the aisles---in case people needed to find groceries. They're really reinforcing who is supposed to shop here aren't they? The ethnic/international dry goods are now prominently displayed in the Allandale store. I'm assuming this is where the multilingual signs will follow.
