Horribly rude pharmacy techs and pharmacists. They have routinely messed up my information and made it incredibly difficult to pick up prescriptions. It’s clear they only care about collecting as much money as possible instead of actually listening to real doctors.I could not recommend this pharmacy any less.

I don't remember which H-E-B this is but if it's the H-E-B off of South oltorf and South Congress then it's the worst H-E-B in all of austin. Also it has the distinction of being the oldest HEB or one of the oldest HEBs in all of South Austin

I have been to this pharmacy three times in as many months. They never have all of the meds picking up and when I pick up partial orders the tellers never seem to know that this has already been okayed by phone. I have been through the line 7 times for three visits.

I went to HEB to purchase some Cough Syrup, Orange Juice, soup and things as I am a bit under the weather.The woman at the Pharmacy counter accused me of cutting the line. I stated I did not cut and she was like, "Well I don't know if you cut or not." I stated that I did not cut, asking the people behind me if I cut them, they said no.I told the Woman "I am not a Liar and would not cut line or lie about such a thing." I then said, "Perhaps to you I look like a liar" to which she said, it's not how you look, which was a lie.Upon check out, I was being profiled by the cashiers and people at the registers. They opened a line as soon as I was about to check out, with a guy starring at me as if He wanted to skin, salt, hang and burn me.They asked how many bags do I want to which I responded, however many it takes. She checked two bags which Obviously I needed 3. The grocery bagger took my chicken and placed it in the basket without a bag to which I stated, I need another bag... She quickly cancelled my transaction and gave me another bag which my chicken, which had been placed in the push basket by the bagger was placed in the bag.Today, seemed as if EVERYONE at the store had a bad attitude which additionally the armed guard came to where I was, looking as if He was going to through me out of my local HEB and the Checker took a picture of me as He thought I wasn't paying attention.I do not know what is in the air today but I am sick from a summer cold and did not need to be accused of cutting line then Profiled as I was by the checkers which the guy Mike placed my chicken directly in the shopping cart.HEB on Congress, please stop profiling people and causing scenes as you have just humiliated me on a day in which I am feeling terrible anyway from having a summertime cold.

What a joke...this place is about as well stocked as the employees are useful. Other than missing standard produce options like celery, they only stock their own cheap version of bread with few exceptions. I bought coffee at another heb store and asked to grind it there because I bough whole bean on accident. I was told I was not allowed to grind it on-site because it was from an outside store. This place is a dump. Go to randall's on ben white and sprouts for your produce.

They delivered my food to my downstairs neighbors clearly didn't bother checking address embarrassing having to go and ask for my food back they took in terrible

This place is fine for picking up some basic groceries or drugstore items. They actually have a decent election of stuff you would find at a Walgreens type place (shampoo, conditioner, soaps, first aid, etc.) as well as full grocery store.... The aisles are a bit sparse as they don't seem to restock regularly. However, the prices are good and there is general selection of most types of food. If you are staying in South Congress, this is likely going to be the best choice for basic grocery shopping...

Possibly the most rude and unhelpful pharmacy staff I have ever encountered. Normally, I love HEB - but can't wait to use another pharamcy. They are just awful.

The pharmacist called me last night to say my doggie Flora's meds would be ready at 8 am this morning. I go to pick up the script and JEANETTE says, the meds won't be here until after 2 pm, today. "Oh, and by the way, they are not $30 but $120.' Say what? No one bothered to call or text? Thrive Pet does not understand why HEB is not taking GoodRx nor why it is NOT HONORING the $30 amount.Jeanette really does not seem to care. Seems to me HEB ought to have a better and happier partner.Fun Fact: There's a reason why I use CVS. Also, Thrive Pet recommended HEB for my doggie's script.Love HEB but this Jeanette is an epic fail.

I was shopping at this HEB this afternoon. I was walking down an aisle, when an employee almost ran into me. Without an apology or any kind of recognition, the employee kept walking. Very rude!

This review is for Instacart that delivers for HEB. First, my rating is not about HEB itself. I always found HEB to be friendly with excellent customer service and enjoyable shopping experiences. I have no problems only praise for HEB. This review is about my problems with Instacart that delivers for HEB. Some background. I have difficulty walking sometimes in bed unable to get up. My experiences recently have been very less than satisfactory with Instacart. My most recent happened 3/21/22 when I placed an order for 3/22/22 at 10:00am. I am not an unreasonable person and I expect adjustments to estimated delivery times. However, my order scheduled for 10:00am slipped to 11:00am, Noon, 1:15pm, 1:45pm, 2:215pm, 2:45pm. 3:45pm, then 4:15pm on 3/22! I called Instacart Support to find out what was going on and told they have a shortage of shoppers. My question is if they have significant backlogs why accept orders? I was promised delivery at 1:15pm, called again and promised delivery at 3:45pm. After 4:15pm I cancelled my order. I need groceries and placed a new order the morning of 3/22 selecting 10:00am. When I finalized my order it gave the delivery time as 3:00pm. Ok. My delivery time again slipped to 5:00pm then 6:15pm now 6:45pm (the time I am writing this). I once again called Instacart and told their shoppers are independent, they do not schedule specific times their shoppers work - they work when they want. The support person I talked to talked over me but I apologized for the miscommunication and again was over talked. Ok My question is, again, if they have backlogs why do they accept new orders - a question any reasonable person would ask. Based upon the explanation I was given shopping is dependent on available shoppers so an order could a day, two days, three days (as my recent case) even longer. Thankfully over the two years I used Instacart including the height of CoVid19 my orders never took longer than two day. However, I find their performance is degrading and when I called the support staff again today it was suggested to me that I drive and shop at HEB myself. I hope I have not left out anything in providing this information. My warning to you monitor your Instacart delivery times, call up and speak to Instacart support staff when delivery times start slipping (more than two adjustments) and judge for yourself if you want to stay at home waiting for a delivery that may not take place.

I just moved back to South Austin after several yrs & was bummed to see the old HEB shutdown. Mainly because I visit the pharmacy twice a month so was afraid it would be a nightmare since there’s no drive-thru and it’s such a small store.However, this pharmacy couldn’t be more efficient and the customer service is excellent. They have several pharmacists working at the same time so they’re really fast. More than enough techs as well. I honestly thought my former HEB pharmacy was the best but this one is even better. Thank you HEB!
