Idk who was taking the phone calls here at the pharmacy at 4pm 1/10/24 but they have no business doing this job because I had to clearly verify 3 times over the phone if they could refill my prescription here. The tech just kept repeating she would cancel it at the other H-E-B location, and I understand they need to do that in order to fill my prescription here, I’m very aware because I’ve had to have other locations do my prescription but I’ve never heard a tech just say okay I’ll cancel it. They usually say okay ill call the other HEB and I’ll have that ready for you here at X time. But thats all she kept repeating , I’ll cancel it, when I needed it filed out HERE afterwards. I’ve been an HEB partner for almost 8 years and haven’t come across a tech this horrible. The tech would just repeat saying okay I’ll cancel it but then I would repeat after her okay but then you’re going to have it refilled here right? Then after the third time I asked her okay but after you cancel it at the previous location you’re going to refill it at your location right? She said yes. So I come in the hour they said it would be ready and it wasn’t and I had to wait for another hour. PLEASE, PLEASE TRAIN YOUR TECHS HERE BETTER.

The most reliable pharmacy that always seems to have everything in stock and will fill within an hour or so of prescriptions being called in, with insanely nice and helpful staff. After having tons of issues getting prescriptions filled at Costco pharmacy (never having things in stock), I am beyond delighted about my experience with HEB.

HEB pharmacy on Riverside is the quickest pharmacy I have ever had. Not only are they quick at filling meds, all of their employees are super sweet. I have been getting my meds there for 6 months now, and I am super grateful for their help. Couldn’t be more happy with a pharmacy.

Has the worst staff ever...they are rude got the customer doing their job...how the heck do I know what a billing code is, and they can't even say good bye have a nice day they just hang up. This location only because heb congress location they are sweet as ever.

Went here to pick up my wife's prescriptions today(they where closed Saturday and Sunday was Easter) bouth prescriptions had been sent to them last Thursday. Well apparently they didn't have either stocked and seemed to be confused about why I was here at all. Her solution is to for me to call around HEB pharmacists to find out who had them then asked them to transfer the prescription from this HEB to the one who had it in stock and for the second prescription she even said I should also check CVS and Walgreens. By the way one of the known side effects for one of those prescription is Death if the medication is cut off all of a sudden(she ran out of that one on Saturday) and I made sure that she was aware of that fact. Last thing I asked her was "So basically what you are telling me is that I should randomly call locations until I find a place that has them?" And her reply was "For the first one yes, for the second one also yes". At that moment I decided that the best option was for me to quickly leave rather than make a Thanos level scene and possibly get arrested. Now I am not a pharmacist I didn't go to college for it or anything but there's this crazy idea I have that if I was on the other side of the counter I would have contacted the locations that showed the meds in their stock and either asked them to transfer the meds here or transfer the prescriptions to them instead. I am livid and I'll be filling a complaint real soon. Oh yeah and the med with the death if you stopped taking it side effect, well HEB had sent us a confirmation on Friday (after the pharmacy closed of course) that they had it on stock so either they are incompetent or lying or the one I talked to is or the answer is all of the above. Thanks HEB I am verry impressed in the worst possible way.P.S. If I could give a no star or negative star rating I would.P.P.S. So I called another HEB Pharmacy and they check the system... Apparently they don't have any at that location however there's a location that has bout 100 in stock. The Riverside location and now I am beyond livid, at this point livid looks like a all expense paid trip to Disney World.

I haVE been outt of my adderall rx for going on 20-something days now, but even though they couldn’t give me any or find somewhere who had it, they helped me with solid advice that did help me to get at least half a month’s supply. THANKS!

Don’t waste your time calling the pharmacy. The guy who answered the phone 5 minutes to 5pm was rushing me off the phone and didn’t seem to care and wasn’t really helpful. He did get my medication filled per the refills but still… his customer service stinks.

Tech Ridge location ... horrible, terrible. We've been doing business there for a long time just out of convenience, but we're finished. The staff is surly, snotty and rude. I have to fight with them every month for my prescription ... if your script calls for needles/syringes they pass judgment and treat you even worse, delay or flat out refuse to fill it. The area itself is always filthy. It's run down, dim and depressing. heb has all the money in the world, they could brighten up and CLEAN their pharmacies. What heb really needs is some competitors ... give that scum bag family something to think about.

While I respect and understand that these days businesses are short staffed but they need to add more resources/money/pharmacist/pharmacy techs ASAP! don’t use the drive thru if you’re in a rush either because you will be waiting in a single line for 30-45 min easy. The wait is always excessive but you definitely want to avoid the drive thru. Then they block off the other one lane with carts. The audacity.

Do you enjoy wasting your time sitting or standing in long, slooow lines? Do you like unfulfilled promises stating your meds will be ready for pick up and then them NOT in fact being ready? Do you prefer paying extra because they cannot honor your request month after month to switch your meds from name brand to generic? If so, this is the pharmacy for you!

Lost two days from filling my 1 year old daughter’s prescription. Dropped off the prescription and confirmed that they had it in stock; told to pick up at 05:30 that evening and when I called to confirm it was ready the new rep said they were out of stock. The system said that they had one bottle but they couldn’t find it and confirmed that the other H‑E‑B Had the same situation with their inventory. They said it would be ordered and I could pick up next day.Next day is here, I call 4 hours after expected time to confirm order was ready and they confirmed they never received the prescription from distributor because it was out of stock. No communication was sent on this order after the first delay.Only until after asking to speak to a supervisor and me becoming evidently frustrated, did they reach out to the medical provider to ask for a replacement option. They were able to find a substitute in stock.Should not be this complicated/inefficient with filling prescriptions.
