I've used this pharmacy for over a year now. Almost all of the staff at this location are so kind, and i really get the feeling that they know what they're talking about. I feel well informed and almost never leave feeling angry about the interaction i just had. I tried using a closer pharmacy recently and ended up back here because nowhere else on the north side has met the standard they set.Sometimes annoying things happen, but it's usually out of the staffs control. I highly recommend this location.

HEB is really not set up to handle the traffic related to providing immunization shots. This is not the only location that I have made appointments for an immunization shot such as flu or RSV and the processing time despite having made an appointment online is very long. Right off the bat upon checking in you can tell the staff is already overwhelmed without having to deal with immunization shot and you see the look on their face that oh yes you're going to be disappointed. Currently I have waited 45 minutes after my check in and it's 40 minutes past my appointment time and have not had anybody attend to us to deliver the immunization shot.

Worst pharmacy service! Called to place a delivery because I’m really sick to even drive but guess what, I had to do it.10:170AM: I had to call to check on my prescription that was sent by my doctor last night and they didn’t even have it ready.12:27PM: I called to request home delivery because I feel so sick and don’t want to drive.2:17PM: Called to check on my order’s status and was told they were still there, the courier hadn’t picked them up. Cancelled the service and now I’m having to drive myself to get it.What’s the purpose of marketing this service if it’s going to be this bad? Another thing that was bad was the pharmacist’s attitude, just unfriendly and plain rude.This was an excellent store and pharmacy before the pandemic, it seems everyone got actually sick of working there and now they don’t care for courtesy and friendliness. It’s more like: “Hurry up and leave, don’t have the patience to deal with you anymore” kinda of attitudes. Smh…

Called pharmacy and spoke with "Jennifer" who is "management" and she had a very rude attitude, and was getting upset for doing something IN her job scope. Highly do NOT recommend you get your medications from this pharmacy, as I was not satisfied with the attitude this pharmacy tech gave.

I am a physician who is extremely upset at the pharmacists telling patients not to take medications. We don't see patients back for a few months to realize they were advised by the pharmacist not to take an important cardiac medication. Please make sure your pharmacist contacts the prescribing doctor directly before giving advice regarding stopping medications.... if you want to practice clinical medicine, feel free to first get the appropriate training.

By far the worst pharmacy I have ever used. They take hours and sometimes even days to fill prescriptions. If you don’t physically go there to ask them to fill it after your Dr. sends it over, it will never get filled. Good luck calling them… they will eventually answer just to put you on hold without even answering. I have already been on hold for 15mins and still waiting as I type this msg.

I have been using this pharma since Fall of 2014. And this year is the first year I can honestly say, I will NOT use them any longer. Since Jan 2023, I have had 6 interactions with them for my script refill each month. The Jan was delayed because of "product" distribution delay, which supposedly started in Nov of 2022. Thus Feb, Mar, Apr, and May, I have had to use 4 different pharmas to receive my scripts as they no longer carry the script I need. Apparently, because each store can only order certain types of this medication, and each store only buys a specific amount of this type of medication... I was told this store has not been able to meet the allowable "allocation" amount of distribution orders. Therefore, they cannot fill my scripts. This forces me and my pain management provider to jump through hoops to get a script from neighboring HEB pharma's who can, and do, order enough of this product still. This most recent experience at the end of May, forced my doctors office to send a script to a store which couldn't fill the script completely. They clearly have an online system to know how much is available at neighboring stores, yet they let my doctor send a script to a store that could not fill it and thus I would have to re-script in 23 days, all while paying full co-pay cost for a partial script. This was done on a holiday weekend where I was force to go without doses until I could resend a script to yet a diff store, which has the full amount available.It took five months for a semi-explanation about these "distribution" problems, and the pharmacist (that day) recommended I use another pharmacy from now on. As they would apparently not be able to fill this script any longer. If there is a way to describe completely bad communication from a large chain pharma any better, I don't think I can.

Convenient since I buy groceries here.There is always a long line and the service is very slow. They sometimes hire techs that can't even pronounce drug names which makes me question their credentials.Prices are good if you comparison shop.The drive through window earns them one more star than I really feel because it's easy and pretty fast.

Deanna at the HEB plants section was very rude and dismissive of us even before we could explain why we are returning a plant within their policy. Her words verbatim while she was on the phone - “can’t return not watered” and walks away from us to help the next customer. It’s almost like she had an agenda and angst against us. She and her assistant were very judgmental as if we don’t know how to take care of plants and are uneducated. I get it you have 9k followers on Facebook but you don’t need to have an attitude. Where did good old customer service go?

It stings to leave a 1 star on the store I used to work at.But... Out of 5 medications I'm on. I put in 5 refills nearly a week ago. I got a series of hangup calls today from them. Tried calling back, nobody could figure out why. Everything was supposed to be ready yesterday.Showed up today. Not only is nothing ready, but they only have an idea of when ONE medication will be in. They're out of the rest company wide.I'm done. I've been out of two very important meds for two days now, and risking seizures at this point. Just going to transfer everything to Costco.The new app is also terrible, it won't pull up anything that's on file (i.e. an extra sent by the Dr instead of the original being sent with refills). I have to call and hope I get through to someone competent enough to look up an on-file rx.

This pharmacy has the most brutally slow drive through I've ever seen at any modern era pharmacy. I swear it's 10-15 minutes per car...in both lanes. Y'all need to hire Chick-Fil-A as a consultant and sort this out.
