A solid HEB experience. I was able to find some premade Boar's Head Salads that I haven't found at other stores. I'd come back. Parking can be a bit extra so park near the back of the lot and walk up. Also you need your own bags.

I don't face this issue at any other HEB besides this one on slaughter and congress. Any curbside order I've placed through them (big orders or small) they never fail to miss multiple items even after updating the app that all my items were in stock and ready for pick up. It's really frustrating when you're not able to go in store for groceries and their curbside team makes these mistakes constantly. Unfortunately this is the closest HEB to me so ive had no choice but to go here from time to time and it's always the same experience when I do with curbside. I've started going to a further location to avoid the constant mistakes from this place.

One of my favorite HEB locations. They have two sides of self checkout which is huge when they're busy. The store itself is also literally huge and has everything you could need. Gas station is easily accessible. Only thing they could add to this location is a coffee shop!

I absolutely loathe this pharmacy. I called to have my mom’s rx transferred from a different HEB, and spoke with Frankie who told me it will be ready in 1.5 hours. Mind you, I called after 5pm. I leave work to head to the pharmacy, walked in and Hania was at the counter. She asked, “how can I help you?” And I told her that I’m here to pick up a rx for my mom. I gave her the dob, and she rudely says that it won’t be ready until tomorrow. I told her that I spoke to Frankie that it’ll be ready in 1.5 hours. She goes “oh I didn’t know that you did a phone order. I will mark this as urgent then.” I told her that it was important to pick up medication because she [my mom] was down to her last pill. So she told me that it’ll be ready in 15 minutes so I waited in the waiting area with the chairs. I was not happy. 15 minutes is up and Hania called me to the counter. She was so rude, and even more rude now that the rx was filled. I asked her who was the pharmacy manager and she said “Joe but is there an issue?” I said, “yes. And I won’t be coming back to this pharmacy ever again.” And left. When I get home, my mom was inspecting the medication, and she told me that they filled the wrong medication. This is when I became more livid. When I spoke with Frankie, he saw the correct rx in the system, and said he would work on it. But I wasn’t understanding why THAT HEB where Hania told them to fill an urgent rx, FILLED THE WRONG MEDICINE! I called back and spoke with the MOD Danielle, and I explained to Carlos what was going on. Carlos has always been nice to me, and always helped me out if I needed a transfer or when I call to check on the status of my mom’s medication. I then spoke with Danielle, and she told me that she will let the pharmacy manager know what’s going on. She advised me to call back that Monday as well. I never got around to calling him back because I’ve been swamped at work as I work in a doctor’s office. The lack of customer service and attention to detail at this HEB pharmacy is unreal between Frankie and Hania. I still will not come back to this location after having this terrible experience.

Great selection. Busier than the location at mancheca and slaughter, but wider selection. Checkouts are staffed pretty well. Because it's always busy the parking is a little hectic, but if you need mango chutney or a large produce selection this is your better bet.

The last few times I have been here, there have been too many cars to even fit into the drive-through and there is a mob inside. Please get some help to this location! It’s a terrible experience picking up prescriptions here and takes well over a half hour every time.

Let me say, I LOVE this HEB. It usually has everything I'm looking for. This review isn't about the store but the gas station. I was in desperate need of gas and only use either HEB or Chevron gas. I came here specifically because I needed a car wash. I figured the newer bigger car wash would give my car a better clean. I was wrong. After spending over $50 on gas (SUV) I got a $1.00 discount on the car wash. I got the most expensive wash, which I believe is called Ultimate. The only thing ultimate about this wash was the disappointment. My vehicle was still incredibly dirty on the hood and roof. There was also still debris on the sides. There was also a sticky layer of something that left the look of small bubbles all over the car. This was horrible. A waste of $12.99. Even though continue to return to this store I will NEVER use their car wash again and I highly recommend everyone else skip it as well. There's a Chevron down the street less than 5 minutes away that does a spotless job.

Staff are patient and kind. Scripts are filled in a timely manner and there are several options for how quickly they can be filled as well as delivery.

For anyone here who is complaining about H-E-B Pharmacy, I only have this to say : if you're unhappy here, try switching over to CVS. They are a million times worse. Here at HEB, when I call and ask to speak to the pharmacy, I am connected right away. At CVS, there's absolutely no way you're going to get to speak to anyone. Leave a message, and they'll call back, maybe, if they feel like it.
When I call here to H-E-B, someone is always polite and looks up my profile, and tries to help me. At CVS, they are annoyed with me, and they just say I should call my doctor about it. Anybody here complaining about H-E-B clearly doesn't know how good they have it.

I needed a Cheesecake with Strawberries for my birthday. Called the night before but the Bakery was closed. Next morning called again very early and a very rude lady in the Bakery told me that I had to reserved within 24 Bla Bla Bla. So I called another HEB store and they said no problem, come to pick it up at 6pm. I called back this store in South Congress and spoke to Gabriel (Manager). He apologized and said that he would speak with the Bakery department. In conclusion I got my Cheesecake from another HEB store, was very happy and had a great celebration. Got it on video to proved it.

I've been spoiled by this HEB since moving to the area. I've never noticed how big this location was until going to others. Now, I wonder why aren't the HEBs as massive as this one?? BBQ: One thing you'll notice is the BBQ restaurant and drive through, though tbh, I've tried it and it doesn't pass the vibe check. SERVICE: The staff here is helpful, especially the folks running the sample stations, shout out to Sara! SUSHI: Though people rave about HEB's sushi, I wish they offered more raw rolls instead of repeating the same spicy salmon/tuna, imitation crab, &/or tempura shrimp options. Pro tip: check the timestamp on the sushi for the freshest rolls GAS: Gas is always the cheapest in the area, make sure to fill up before you leave! AMENITIES: This location will soon be home to a eyebrow threading shop, and has great aisles including a wine/beer station, health aisle offering fresh nuts, and a home goods section (a bit pricey, but some nice, unique finds).
