Another remodel??? I worked there not long ago and we had a 4 month remodel last 14 months. Now they're doing it again??? You know who pays for this right? The customer!
Also, maybe tell your employees where everything is. I needed 1 item and I asked 1 guy who asked another girl who got on a radio and asked another 2 people. What happened to heb? They used to care about training their employee.
Update - got the typical bot reply, do better heb.

It's a mess with the construction right now, but it looks like a nice improvement to the layout when it is done.

I did a curbside pick up and out of the 8 items I had they somehow forgot 2. I got the last timeslot for pickup since that's the only time I could get off to pick up my groceries so both customer service and curbside were closed, so I asked an employee for help and they called their manager. The employees were kind but the manager of the store was rude. He was very condescending and said that it was an inconvenience to him that I came in after hours and that I should've just come in the morning. But I explained that I came back as soon as I got home since I had only been able to get a curbside order for the last time slot and that I wouldn't have come back if everything was just in my order. I do not have the time to come back in the morning and it made me more uncomfortable to come back since he made it seem like my interaction with him threw his schedule off by several hours.

Was going to give you guys a one. I get profiled every time I go in. Once I had to leave $200 of groceries because one of the ladies stopped me outside and stated that my receipt was fake! Just after I paid cash for them. That woman even watched me pay for it.

HEB should be ashamed for having the store open while these massive renovations are going. No Deli, having to walk 5 minutes to get to the other side of the store - constant construction noise and dust, massive issues and closures in the parking lot. We all knew HEB was going down hill but this cements it.

This HEB is the worst one in Austin. I’ve made numerous simple requests via their online forms and raised basic concerns with management in person and they do nothing to change or improve the shopping experience. The current remodel is so poorly executed its shocking.

Manager at registers tonight (man) was incredibly unhelpful and shooed me to the side without any assistance because I had an Instacart order that was declining.
EDIT: Note the reply, servant leadership is not present at this store. Manager only concerned with responsibilities directly outlined in their job description and nothing to help a customer (or in this case, a DELIVERY WORKER) with an issue with an order.
Even if you can't help, you can handle the situation in a way that is respectful to a worker trying to complete a delivery order. Be kind, friendly, helpful. Not that hard, other HEBs do it.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with HEB’s customer service. A few weeks ago, I purchased a money order from the store but didn’t end up using it due to unforeseen circumstances. When I returned to request a refund, I waited for 10 minutes while the employees struggled with their system, only to be told they couldn’t process it. Instead of offering a proper solution, they became hostile and dismissed my concerns. They just gave me a phone number of customer service.
I then called customer service, who confirmed that the check was valid and that I should have no issue cashing it. So why were the employees unable—or unwilling—to assist me? Their lack of competence and professionalism is unacceptable.
If this issue isn’t resolved promptly, I will escalate it by reporting the transaction as fraudulent to my bank. I expect better from HEB, and I hope management takes action to ensure customers are treated with respect and efficiency in the future.

Construction has really made this store go downhill, hopefully only temporarily. Getting around the store, finding everything, parking lot, sectioned off areas….its a mess. I have been coming here for >2 years and I’m going to start going somewhere else.

This H-E-B is currently undergoing construction, which is making the store layout a bit confusing to navigate. I was able to find most of the items I needed, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they reorganize the store after construction is complete.

The construction has made this HEB difficult to find things.. I'll like it more when it's easier to shop there.

Fátima from self check out area working on Sunday 16 at 6:50 p.m. was extremely rude and gives the worst customer service. We waited around 3 minutes for her to come and assist us before she noticed we needed her help because she was on her cellphone. When she finally came to check my ID for wine, I show her my Panamanian ID which I've always used in H-E-B (I go basically everyday) and she tells me that's not valid and I need a passport. I told her it's the first time I've gotten told that and in the most condescending manner she answers "well I'll call my manager and he'll tell you the same thing". I just laughed it off because I find it fascinating how you're not doing your job because you're on your phone and then when you come to 'do your job' you're just mean, disrespectful and unhelpful. First time I'm not able to use my Panamanian ID in an H-E-B to buy alcohol, are passports the only ID accepted? People like Fatima should really not be interacting with customers with her attitude. This is the first time I get treated horribly in H-E-B, very disappointed.

If this specific HEB fell into a sinkhole, we would be better off - and so would HEB’s reputation. And that’s before it was under construction. The pharmacy line is never less than 10 minutes, I see an enraged homeless person being escorted out at least weekly, the construction layout is idiotic and claustrophobic, basic product availability is an absolute crapshoot, and the parking lot is a nightmare. I’m sure the store will be amazing in 2026 or whenever, but these improvements are 10 years too late and won’t fix some of the fundamental problems facing this location.

This HEB stereotypes their Customers. Be sure to have your receipt in hand and make sure to just buy a bag so they don't assume you're walking out with Unpaid items!! My husband was physically harassed over items he ACTUALLY BOUGHT!!
Also I got food poisoning from their Shrimp from the Deli 2 weeks ago!
