My absolute favorite grocery store in the US (aside from Seed to Table in Naples). This place has a great selection, good deals, and some really hidden gems as far as products you would not find anywhere else. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the shelves are organized and stocked well, and the layout makes things easy to find. It is also very clean. Anytime I am in Texas, I'm always sure to stop at at least one of these locations. This one is by far my favorite.

Love love love my H‑E‑B. I would only request the management enact a policy that employees use the parking spaces furtherest from the entrances. I have been shopping several times at 6:30 am and there aren’t any spaces anywhere near the store. Once inside there are several shoppers, but by far most of the people inside are H‑E‑B employees. This is an easy fix. Thank you!

UPDATE 2: Went shopping at the actual store last week. All of the aisles were mislabeled. The week of Thanksgiving and everyone is confused and congregating at the end of the aisle looking at the signs and wondering where to find their items. Not good H‑E‑B plus on Slaughter/South Congress.***Update on delivery: it’s been better, but haven’t gone a consecutive 5 orders without something missing and having to call in.UPDATE: called customer service they refunded the money for the missing items. Had a delivery from H‑E‑B yesterday and once again had an item missing!!!! (So now once again I have to call customer service, who very polite and accommodating, but I really shouldn’t have to do this every time!)Worst curbside and delivery service out of any H‑E‑B I have shopped with! There’s over a 50% chance that something will be missing from my order. Last order 17 items were missing! (And when they delivered the missing items they still didn’t deliver 4 items!!) I love H‑E‑B and will continue to shop at H‑E‑B, it’s just a shame I cannot count on the store closest to me.

Best grocery store in TEXAS! Produce is always fresh, they have an excellent bakery, and the selection is endless! Easy to navigate and perfect for all grocery needs!

HEB is just simply fantastic! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a bad location. The staff there is always friendly and nice and very helpful. They always have the best foods available. The isles are clean. There is no smell in the meat department and I absolutely love the fact that they offer bags for a price or you can bring your own bag. Cuts down on waste. If you’re lucky, you can find a location with the barbecue restaurant inside. That barbecue is fantastic, a bit pricey but fantastic. The kids love receiving the kids bucks and playing the game there; they have won great prizes.

Grocery shopping nirvana!Amazing experience (for me). I have never seen or experienced anything quite like this. I continue to be enthralled with the overall H-E-B and Central Market brands. This location is exceptional. The array of choices is tantalizing. The store was emaculately clean. And an army of staff members could be easily found in any department, ever willing and capable of answering questions and helping.I'll be back, as there is SO much yet to explore!

I don’t think the person making the “Chicken Cesar Wrap with Cesar Dressing” knows to put Cesar dressing in the package.I’ve been buying these for months and it took me going to another HEB to realize the “with Cesar dressing” does not mean go and grab a pack of Cesar from the dressing selection and then not scan it

Every store always has the issues of the old friends and long lost cousins who have to block aisles, but this store had none of those issues at all. Plenty of cart and walking room between aisles and plenty of well stocked shelves to look through. This store is much bigger than many other HEBs and I enjoyed the visit I made. The BBQ on one end of the store is a great smell to catch when going through produce.

Honestly, the best H-E-B I’ve ever visited in all of Austin. Spacious, well-equipped and modern. In fact, it’s my favorite super market. The reason for the 4 stars is because I have noticed that little by little a variety of Venezuelan products have ceased to be available.

Friendly staff, wide and good quality selection despite having to work out of an old converted strip mall. But my brother in Christ, please stop crumpling the flap you're supposed to sticker for deli meats/cheese. Fold the bag over lay the flap flat and sticker below the perforations, attaching the part that can break away from the zipper to the bag, rather than attaching the bag to itself.Besides this thank you for everything you do, excited for the new store to open! xoxo

Curbside sucks, twice now I have sent my husband to go get groceries via curbside and each time they take 30-50 min to deliver them to the car way over the time slot we selected . Why choose a time slot if they won't honor it . Do better or reduce your slots available if your unable to meet the times .

Name of item: Bare Chocolate Cake. 'Chocolate' cake with buttercream frosting. There is a shortage of cocoa which means it is more expensive. Unlike in Europe where there is the slightest concern for the consumer over the profits of companies, in the US, there is none at all; so, in Europe, you can't call something chocolate unless there is a certain percentage of cocoa in it; in the US, H‑E‑B is allowed to call this food-appearing item a 'chocolate' cake. The frosting is whipped oil - run it between your fingers - it has the consistency of Crisco. The govt allows companies to call not-chocolate chocolate but at least the govt forces them to admit to the contents of their food. I was trying to guess what percentage of actual cocoa there was in this cake and my guess was nothing; & you know what, at least companies are forced to admit what ingredients make up their products (I'm not going to call it food) because there is in fact ZERO cocoa in this 'cake'. I'm attaching the ingredient list, maybe I missed it - see for yourself. The ingredients show that this is wheat mixed with chemicals to make it look like a risen cake + flavorings to make it taste like one, ('chocolate' if you've lost your sense of taste) topped with whipped oil with sugar in it, to simulate frosting and this thing will cost you $16.99. This is what Americans can look forward to as long as we're content for our govt to work for corporations instead of people: a product costing the co pennies & costing us as much as they pay an hour & seems to me barely qualifying as food. I'd speculate that there was a typo & HEB Intended to call this 'Barely Chocolate Cake' - but even that would have been a joke -- -& the joke's on us.
