This review is for the parking and shuttle service.
Do not engage their parking and shuttle services.
You will end up paying for Uber getting into Airport and getting back there.

We used the airport shuttle service, where you can pay to park your car and leave it for the duration of your trip. We were gone 5 days, we just got back and the back window was smashed in from someone breaking in. I asked reception if they have security cameras or security, and she rudely told me I have to make a police report and then contact management, and that their security monitored several different locations. When I asked if in 5 days their security wouldn’t have noticed a car window being broken into, while right in front of the entrance of the hotel she looked at be blankly and dumbly before answering “I guess not”. Absolute stupidity and no help. Do NOT park your car here and use the airport shuttle, it will not be safe. We will be contacting management and management above as this is absolutely unacceptable.
Safety: NOT a safe area

Just another stay in an overpriced motel. But the plumbing worked, the tv worked, and the bed served its purpose as well. Right off the interstate and close to the airport. I can't say anything bad about the staff. Its a short walk to a convenience store and a few places to eat as well.
Walkability: There are at least 2 convenient stores within easy walking distance. A few eateries as well.
Food & drinks: There's Waffle House, 711, Chipotle across the interstate. There's a convenient store less than a quarter mile away

I am a Hilton HHonors member and so I stayed a lot of different Hilton Hampton properties numerous different states across the country. I would say this is a pretty typical average Hampton Hotel. It is a little bit older and dated. but clean & adequate.
Overall, my room was clean and had adequate furniture, including a couple of queen size beds. The room was not particularly large and there was not a lot of space around the beds. But okay. There is a desk and a chair for work as well as a small fridge and microwave as well.
As I mentioned, the bathroom is a bit older and dated and still has the old style tub versus the new showers with nice glass doors that they are installing in the new or newly refurbished Hampton inns. This location is really close to the Austin airport, so if you're looking for a Hilton property nearby then this will likely meet your needs. Another positive about this hotel is that parking was free and self-serve. It seems more and more in Texas, especially in any of the larger cities. They are switching over to paid parking and a lot of them even only have valet parking and it's very expensive. $40 to $50 a night so that is definitely positive with this location with free parking.
Hampton Inn breakfast was fairly typical with eggs and hash browns. Some pastries, bagels, waffles, toast and a few different types of fruit.
The fitness room had decent equipment in it, but it was a very small room. I believe it did have dumbbells that went up to 75 lb though. But I tried to go by in the morning and there was several people in there already working out and there just wasn't room for anybody else so I didn't end up working out and I had to leave the hotel before I had time. Credit for 75 lb dumbbells though a lot of hotels just don't have that option so kudos for that.
As far as my check in and checkout experience, those were both adequate and they were able to get my room keys in a short amount of time.
Overall seem like a decent area the hotel was located in, although I didn't spend a lot of time in the area but it seemed fine.

Upon my arrival I was informed by the not so friendly clerk that my room with 2 queen beds that was reserved 4 months ahead of time was not available. The clerk informed us that all they had was a single king bed room. This is not acceptable. The A/C was broken in the lobby for our 2 night stay, it was very hot. During breakfast in the lobby the security guard was sleeping on one of the sofas. I will not stay at this hotel again !

Not recommended. Let’s get some Hilton big wig’s in here to see if they’d stay here. I’ll pay you to go somewhere else. Thank me later
Rooms: Motel 6 is a better option
Noteworthy details: Avoid

What stand’s out about this hotel are the people who works here. Very friendly, professional and helpful. The building needs to be updated but it’s been very well kept and maintained.

We only had one washcloth and the lotion bottle was almost empty! I am an honors member and have stayed numerous times and been happy with your service, … BUT I wasn’t this time!

Just checked in at this location have been a diamond member for several years. Room was booked by our tour, which we stay in many Hampton Inn. Tried to give my number Diamond number to the front desk clerk did not care that I was a diamond member because I was not the Original booking party. So she would not add me for stay, or even let me have complementary water. I don’t like The brand of water they sell on property. Since she wouldn’t give me any complementary, I tried to buy the complementary water and was rejected. They evidently are not for sale. I really didn’t care that she wasn’t gonna add me on the stay. It was just pretty crazy. I couldn’t get a water. Even though I tried to buy it. Yes, we are by the airport so you’re going to hear airplanes and I sure do. Definitely did not go out of their way to accommodate.
Noteworthy details: Basic place, nothing out of the ordinary other than the fact the thermostat on the wall does not work. You have to go to the air condition, window unit and operate it that way. They should probably remove those from the wall as I sat here trying to figure it out and realized it didn’t work at all.

This is a pretty nice Hampton Inn. Very clean and bed was comfortable. We had to wait quite a while for the shuttle in 40 degree temperatures but after a second phone call it arrived. Breakfast was great and all items were well stocked. The red velvet waffle was a nice change. I asked for a bottled water at check out as we had a long drive and was told I had to pay for it (Hhonors elite). That was a bad ending to an otherwise nice stay.
