We visited this past Sunday. We were excited to try because they advertised authentic Mexican. We were seated right away but were ignored for 15 minutes before they took our drink and food order. Then we waited I kid you not, 45 minutes just for the food to come out. Finally when it did it was so disappointing. The food was bland had no flavor and our order was just simple chilaquiles with fried eggs. The green sauce had no salt, eggs had no salt, beans were canned and had no flavor.I have no idea why it took so long. We were ready to walk out before the food got there and then to have it not taste good. Anyway, whatever was going on that day I hope they can do better. At least taste the food before serving it, seriously.

Alex was the most professional and helpful server I've ever experienced. The food was great. Also didn't catch her name but woman in the red plaid long sleeve was also super nice and helpful. Thank you.

The cafe de olla is delicious and the food has good flavor. We prefer spicier food so that's our only real critique. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is nice.

I was craving fajitas and didn't even know this place existed, even though it's close by my house and has been there for five years. So I gave it a shot.Very clean and inviting interior, water was served in a cool metal cup, music was in Spanish, fresh warm chips with an unusual and tasty salsa...good signs. The menu has great variety, but I was here for one thing, and I feel like fajitas are a solid gauge of a Mexican restaurant's abilities; it's not hard to do them right, but a lot of places overcharge and underdeliver. The following items arrived without much delay: a plate of fresh tortillas; a bowl featuring small dollops of rice, beans, Pico de Gallo and sour cream; a sizzling platter of sliced beef with peppers and onions. These fajitas were pretty delicious, and there's enough ingredients to make four stuffed fajitas. The beef was not overcooked; it was tender, plentiful and gently seasoned. I think the dish is worth the $18.I would have liked a green element, perhaps some shredded lettuce or even a touch of guacamole. The beans, rice and Pico were all pretty standard, though slightly lacking in seasoning. It's a friendly, family-run spot that deserves more attention and another visit to explore more of the menu.
