If you are like me and booked and paid for a car over a month in advance, DON’T BOTHER! they just give you whatever vehicle they have left on the day anyway.
Booked a large Ford F-150 for all our large suitcases as we are Brits travelling the USA.
Was given a small SUV, Jeep compass, half tank of fuel, service lights on the dash and unable to fit our luggage in without the rear seats folded down, which now means we can’t collect family from the airport who are meeting us for a few days.

I had an amazing experience renting from Hertz at 709 E 10th St in Austin! Caleb and his team went above and beyond to make the process fast, friendly, and stress-free. The car was spotless, ran perfectly, and the pickup and drop-off were incredibly smooth. Caleb’s professionalism and genuine care for customers truly stood out — it’s clear he takes pride in great service. I’ll definitely be renting from this location again and recommending it to friends and family.

Great people behind the desk. Great car collection. Pro tip: Their cheapest cars are the electric ones which ironically are the best driving cars in my opinion. Austin has a lot of charging infrastructure to support. Chargepoint charges are lifesavers. Go give an EV a try from Hertz!

Hertz!! My favorite g to car rental company!! The E. 10th location is The Best!! The guys there are polite & friendly. They work hard to make sure everyone is satisfied. Highly recommend!!

When I returned the car, the employee did not say anything about the car not passing their cleaning inspection. I had no idea that the car was not considered clean until I received my invoice with a cleaning fee of $100. If I had been told when I returned the car, I would have taken the car to be cleaned and brought it back. I can clean a car for much less that $100. We took the car to the beach but rented a golf cart to drive on the beach. Yes, there was some sand in the car. My complaint is that if I had been told that it was unacceptable and that it would cost me $100, I would have cleaned the car and brought it back. I was not given that choice.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hertz Rental Car at the E. 10th St. location in Austin, Texas and I must say, customer satisfaction truly seems to be their top priority.
Caleb Arias, in particular, stands out as an exceptional service provider. His pleasant demeanor and accommodating nature made my experience enjoyable and stress-free. It's refreshing to encounter someone who genuinely cares about their customers and goes the extra mile to ensure their needs are met.
Because of my initial experience and those after, when I need to rent a car, I only look at those rental vehicles at this location. I do this because I have complete confidence in the exceptional service provided by Caleb Arias and also Marcos Alarcon.
Their unwavering kindness, remarkable efficiency, and genuine eagerness to ensure that I leave completely satisfied truly set them apart. Each interaction with them reaffirms my trust in their dedication to customer happiness, I can anticipate a smooth rental pick up and drop off.
Kudos to Hertz for employing conscientious and trustworthy service providers!

I left my work IPod in one of their cars by accident, I try to contact them multiple times to ask for it, they never respond any of my calls, so I went to the Hertz office at the Austin Airport and they said "they were going to take care of it" "they were going to look at the caneras", LIES!!!!! Supposedly the manager gave me his information to keep me updated since I don't live in Texas, it was going to be impossible for me to go the office again, since they never answer the phone, I also did a claim online which was deleted by them. Worst experience ever in a rental car. They are very irresponsible.

I used to rent from Turo 3-4 times per month, until I started renting from Caleb Arias and his world-class customer service. He is friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful. I’d only be ok with Hertz moving him from this location if they did it to make him CEO, and even then I wouldn’t be thrilled about working with someone else on 10th street moving forward.
