Love this place! It’s that time of year for annual service. Paid $200 deposit to drop off leaf blower in need of tune up - new air filter. Two week turn around time. Purchased over the years - cub cadet riding mower, push mower, weed whacker, edger, hedge trimmer, leaf blower…lots of gas powered tools for a 5+acre yard. You can often get same manufacturers with less expensive models sold at big box stores. Problem is those less expensive models have plastic parts that in my experience, cannot be serviced by equipment dealers.

I’ve been in the industry for over 10 years and never had to deal with such pour communication from a repair service like hill country. After waiting almost 2 months to get my machine back I had to pay an additional $600 on top of my deposit after being told it was only going to be and additional $300. I tried to get an explanation as to why but the manager who handled my case was not at work and no one else knew what to tell me. You had 6-7 guys at the front counter watching videos on the computer and no one could give me a good explanation to why.I will no longer be taking my machine to them and I will also stop referring family and friends to this store as they are unorganized and have to long of a lead time for repairs.

Place has been awsome, they know their stuff. We started tree trimming this year with the storm and they helped us so much get started and maintain our equipment.... The staff is awsome and makes you feel at home and also makes sure you get taking care of. They are pricey but homest that goes a long way. You pay for what you get.

Made a 43 mile round trip to Hill Country Outdoor Power to pick up a carburetor the parts guy told me he had on the shelf when I called. Turns out it’s in the warehouse and had to be ordered through their online parts portal . The guy at the parts counter said “I don’t know who told you it was here but it’s not here!”

Service and response time have improved. I'll wait to add the fourth star after a year of the new mower ownership.

The kindest most salt of the earth kind of people here. They were so helpful to make sure I got the right parts for our mower. A pleasure to work with them. We will never use anyone else!

These guys are so helpful. I had a lawn mower which wouldn't start, I called and described to them the issue, and they recommended I swing by. They could have taken the lawn mower, charged a lot of money and kept it six weeks-- or they could have just done a simple fix and charged nothing. The second thing is what they did.. they've made me a loyal customer. Honest guys and extremely knowledgeable.

My Troy Bilt mower works great after being repaired by HCOP! It took 4 weeks and the awful traffic on 290 but so glad I took it in. Just couldn't get it to start this year. They replaced gaskets, spark plug, air cleaner, fuel filter. They did warn me in late March that it would take 5 weeks. No rush but I did have to call to ask about it. Don't recall getting a call that it was done. Also left the $200 check down as a deposit but cost was lower than that. Great shop!!
