Awesome hotel, having the Hilton app made checking in and out super easy. The location is really nice as well, we had fun on 6th street and were able to walk back in less than 10 minutes.

Nice hotel in the heart of Austin. Parking very expensive and entry is on a dead end street.

I was here for five days for a conference. Excellent front desk and housekeeping staff. Room was very nice with a beautiful view of the capital. I do wish you had a sundry shop to purchase snacks and beverages. I really enjoyed my stay, thank you!

Poor customer service, room service, and housekeeping. Refused to look up my reservation, astronomically high prices, lobby lockdown for company parties, leftover food in room refrigerator from who knows when, room service that never answers the phone, and clogged shower drains. Not worth it!

My fiancé and I came into town for the marathon and James J was such a pleasure and extremely informative, he answered all questions and concerns. I’m a Hilton fan for life, I highly recommend this location, very clean and beautiful.Rooms: Clean

Unfortunately for me I went to visit with a friend who was in town and did not have transportation. I took my vehicle and because of no outside parking i parked in the Hotel garage. No signs posted as to the rates or anything except to pay when exiting. I was there one hour fifteen minutes. Left promptly. How much? $25.98. for one hour. way way too damn high and no one to discuss with. Poor relations and customer service.

Great hotel. Such easy access to the convention center. The service was top notch, the rooms were nice and comfortable. They actually clean your room during your stay, which is less and less common now days. My only complaint is the water it’s either extremely hot or cold, no in between. Not enough to change my mind about the hotel. It’s great and comes highly recommended by me!

I merely stopped in to enjoy the Starbucks inside. It was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quite cool. The baristas were kind and affable.

Stayed for a night in Austin while visiting a friend. This has to have been the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff was friendly, professional, prompt and understanding. I was provided a free room upgrade due to my frequent Hilton (keep in mind, I have spent nearly 4 months in hotels in 1 year, travelling for work). The room was clean, spacious and had a wonderful view of downtown Austin. I will be staying here upon my return to Austin. Book this hotel! You will not be disappointed.

I stayed here for a company party this past weekend. I didn't ask for any services, but all staff members were kind and courteous and greeted you when passing through the hallways. Stepping inside from the Austin busy streets is like stepping into an alternate reality of relaxation and opulence. The views are amazing (I stayed on the 26th floor), there is a sizeable bar and a full size Starbucks. The rooms were very comfy with a chaise lounge type of couch, beds were just right and sheets were fantastic. They have a parking garage below which seemed secure. My only negative thing which has nothing to do with the hotel is that even from the 26th floor, the music from 6th street was incredibly prominent, but then again, I stayed on a Saturday night.Hands down, this has been one of my favorite hotel stays.Rooms: Clean. Nice attention to detail with calming colors (no crazy carpet). Beds melt all the aches and pains away with sheets that will make you sad to leave.Nearby activities: 6th street, comedy houses, nice diningSafety: They had valet services. The parking garage seemed pretty safe.Walkability: Everything is close by.Food & drinks: Fantastic bar.Noteworthy details: I really like the remote control panel where you can operate all lights and thermostat from your bedside table. Also the Crabtree and Evelyn body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner was lovely. Normally hotel things like that are too drying for my skin and hair and this did not do that.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. First, the shower water was too hot (temperature not adjustable). After failing to fix it, they moved me to a room which turned out to be occupied with a "Do not disturb" sign at the door. The 3rd room I was assigned had 2 active cockroaches in the bathroom and bedroom. They then moved me to another (4th) room whose water tap suffers from extremely low pressure. At this point, I was too exhausted to go through another room change, and was pretty much convinced that every single room in this hotel comes with an issue, just a matter of personal preference. Compared to scalding shower water and spending the nights with cockroaches, I could at least put up with spending more time at the sink. That said, customer service at this hotel was superb - they attended to my requests right away. The hotel lobby looked impressive. Unfortunately, I was there expecting a safe, clean and comfortable stay, not just a 5-star experience in the hotel lobby.Given the upsetting experience I just had at Hilton Austin, I'll avoid booking Hilton hotels all over the world from this point onwards.

As someone who typically stays in five-star accommodations, my expectations were adjusted prior to my arrival at the Hilton in Austin. The hotel presents well from the outside, boasting a visually appealing lobby that houses a restaurant, bar, seating areas, and a conveniently located Starbucks. However, the experience upon arrival fell short of my expectations. The absence of doormen or bellmen meant we had to manage our luggage independently, leading us to a lengthy queue at reception. The wait for check-in stretched between 30 to 40 minutes, during which my status as a Diamond member was neither acknowledged nor were any associated amenities offered. The room itself was clean but lacked the spaciousness I am accustomed to. The bathroom was notably small, equipped with a shower curtain, which felt misaligned with the otherwise modern aesthetics of the lobby. A significant discrepancy in quality between the public areas and the guest rooms was evident, highlighted by the outdated nature of the room and a noticeable tear in our bed sheets. Rooms are noisy, you can hear the people in the other rooms and in the hallway. You can even hear their alarms!A surprising oversight was the absence of bottled water in the room, a standard amenity in most hotels. This inconvenience was compounded by the fact that water was neither provided for the coffee maker nor available for purchase. Furthermore, the mini bar/fridge was empty, deviating from what one might expect in a hotel of this caliber. The policy that rooms are cleaned only upon request was another unexpected aspect of our stay. While it's commendable that the housekeeping service was prompt once requested, the necessity to ask for basic replenishments like coffee supplies seemed unusual. On a positive note, the hotel's location is excellent, offering convenient access to local attractions. This, coupled with the hotel's appealing lobby area, partially offsets the shortcomings experienced during our stay.In summary, while the Hilton Austin has certain merits, including its prime location and attractive communal areas, the overall experience was underwhelming, especially for a traveler used to higher-end accommodations. The lack of attention to detail in guest services and room amenities significantly impacted the quality of our stay, aligning more with a three-star experience.

Hotel was clean and rooms were well maintained. Gym and Pool on premise for anyone interested. Downstairs lobby area also had a bunch of amenities like a Starbucks, a bar, a CVS vending machine and some other shops.

As you can see from the picture, I was given only a partial view with this room. Make sure you ask for something above the 10th floor. The room was dark, so I asked if I could get an additional lamp for the room. They were very accommodating. Hospitality is top-notch at this hotel. The bed did not sleep well for me. It was just a little bit too soft for my liking. The shower was nice and hot . The Indigo tiles were quite cute along with the gold trimming. I got some food from the restaurant downstairs, Austin tacos . I was not impressed with the tiny tacos, but the roasted corn soup was quite good. The hotel is situated in a nice part of town. I would say that would be like the downtown part. The night stands both have connectivity panels which makes everything so much better.

I was just there for a conference, and the staff was beyond helpful. Even the security guard chipped in to help me with my bags when everyone was busy. Luis at the front deck and the other gentleman (I can't remember his name) were super accommodating. Got me checked in early. Service and location was overall outstanding. Would definitely stay again.
