While we were very pleased with their design work, we did not receive the majority of the deliverables we agreed upon from the SEO side. Many hours were spent on things that were not useful to us, and our primary contact left the company with only a few days notice and before completion. Although we now have a very "pretty" website, we paid quite a bit of money on the technical side with very little to show for it, unfortunately. We were told a lot of analysis was done, but the feedback we received was almost always just that we were doing well or it looked good and very few actual recommendations were provided.I tried reaching out before writing a review to see if we could find a compromise but was pretty much told that the budgeted hours were used up and there was nothing else they could do for us. As a nonprofit, this was a significant expense for us, and it was disappointing we didn't end up getting what we had paid for.TL;DR: would definitely recommend for website design services, would not recommend for SEO services.

HMG's team is impressively creative, efficient, and kind. They helped me bring my website design to life, which was an awesome experience all around. I felt like I learned a lot through the process. We worked with HMG to redesign and develop our long-overdue new website. From the very first moment when we contacted HMG (after a referral from another company, which is always a great start), I was impressed with their customer service, attention to detail, and style.Throughout the proposal process, they were very accessible, answered all of our big and little questions with a smile, and truly made us feel like we were developing a partnership, not just another business transaction.As for the website project itself, HMG also hit that out of the park. Their design and development process was very brand contentious and leveraged input from various stakeholders. HMG Creative has been a pleasure to work with. The designers that we have worked with have a very nice aesthetic. I was also impressed with their ability to code a responsive email template in an email service provider's system they had never worked in before. They did a good job of resolving compatibility issues and did all of this within budget.
