I've been to this home depot a few times, especially for gardening tools and buying plants and soil for my backyard. It's as any Home Depot should be, with a wide range of selection and is well maintained. However the location can make it stressful due to the construction around the entrance and the heavy traffic. I also would prefer they had a better selection of perennial plants. For instance, they only had Spanish lavender rather than the tougher, longer lasting phenomenal lavender which would be more appropriate for Austin's climate. So if you're looking for a better variety of plants I would recommend visiting a local nursery. For home improvements this Home depot does the job. Staff was for the most part very helpful except for one employee who even refused to check in the system if they had the plant I was looking for in stock. I would also recommend they carry expanded shale for the clay soil here in Austin.

We bought a dishwasher 8 months ago. We a had problem this week. Found out we have one year warranty but.......they provide no human tech. They expect you will provide the service yourself with a distant foreign person leading the process.
Never again will we purchase appliance there. Warranty is useless.

Scanning the QR code gets you no help, and once the timer runs out they won’t let you re-summon. So I did it through 3 browsers. Still nobody. There were 4 employees guarding self checkout nearby, and I asked them to help me get a tool battery, and all they could do was “send someone over”. Nobody showed after 10 min so I asked a roaming employee, but getting a battery was “above them” so they also promised to send someone. But don’t worry, I got accosted about HVAC no problem.

Staff could be friendlier. Everyone looked like they were having a really bad day today.
Self checkout is always a plus.

We went in for the appliance promotion 'save $450 when you spend $3000.' After spending 2 hours picking our fridge and washer/dryer set, the discount didn't activate at the register. The managers on duty all scratched their heads and wasted our time instead of manually applying the discount.
We left frustrated, hoping the next day's management would figure it out. The next day they told us they couldn't apply the discount because the fridge was already slightly discounted. They were rude and unapologetic for the false advertising, so we took out business elsewhere.

This place is a joke. I went in, asked for help grabbing 20ft 2x8's by the time the guy came to me I had all but one down. Then I go to grab some 3/4 plywood. 15 sheets of some other wood are ontop of the stack...... So I ask for help. Guy say's he will be over, never comes. I get all but 3 of the 3/4 ply onto my cart..... and another customer comes and helps me..... Then I go to checkout (on a busy friday afternoon) the pro checkout is closed. So I go to the THREE girls sitting by the self checkout and explain that I cannot drag 20fters around to self checkout (they should have noticed this, 3 people doing nothing)..... Then I have to wait till they come scan and walk over and pay.... Then I ask if they can open the door so I can go straight out with 20 FOOT 2x8's. Like helpless drones they say I cannot. So I swing around the corner so pissed off and ram into the sliding door by accident and knocked it off its hinges. Told ya so. Pay one guy $40 an hour who can make a decision. Would cover the 5-7 uselss employees I ran into.

Went to pro desk to ask if they had fire wood...
While they stood and debated about it for 15 minutes I updated the app and remembered that I'm the pro with the home depot app, and they are glorified app users... who failed to pull up the app.
Entire waste of a dept...

WARNING WITH SCHEDULING!! The staff was nice but a total waste of time with how unorganized they were. They made me wait over an hour and a half to schedule a service for an install because someone was away from the desk. This being said I had to go to another Home Depot to set it up because nobody helped me. I kept being told to wait more for the person who could help me returned from lunch. They kept saying to wait another 20 minutes and every time I checked in they added more time. Wished they just said 2 hours so I could’ve easily gone to another location.

It is unfortunate that they do not put valuable information on the internet such as when they are going to close the store early, I drove from very far to pick up an online order and I arrive and they tell me that because of their festivities the store is closed early they only put signs on the door for their frequent customers and all the other people trying to get in and we had to stay outside frustrated that the store had not had that consideration to notify EVERYONE online! Your other clients, terrible customer service management

The curbside pick up is a JOKE, 3rd time I make order and when I show up I still have to wait over 30+ min. I thought curbside was supposed to be quicker. Absolute joke and waste of time.

Closest home depot to my house, so I’m there frequently. Unfortunately, the employees tend to seem confused about basic home improvement questions.
