Horrifyingly fraudulent and disgusting. Home Depot has been falsely accusing us, taunting+harassing us, and extorting us with blatant fraud and threats of defamation with their Pro Xtra card. Home Depot + Citi remain standing despite countless complaints against them; it is horrible that they are allowed to continue to stand and destroy innocent lives.

I bought a dryer and it doesn't dry the clothes all the way. It was likely delivered defective, but didn't realize this until the 3rd day because it's only on certain settings. I called them and they are forcing me to deal with the manufacturer.

Warning! Do NOT buy appliances from Home Depot. They don't honor the warranty at all. I bought a dishwasher from them. Day one, it didn't work. So... after a LOT of arm twisting, they eventually gave me the pre-tax price back. But they did NOT reimburse the taxes, the delivery fee, nor the shipping costs. Sooo crazy unbelievable!!! You've GOT to be kidding! But no, it's true! So... what's my option? To hire an attorney for thousands, in order to get my tax ($50) my delivery fee ($80) and my shipping fee ($40) back?? Arggg! So impossible to deal with Home Depot! Best Option: DONT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT !!!
(Ok now.... you've been informed).
Don't buy from Home Depot. They don't stand behind their sales. I bought a dishwasher from them. From day one, it never worked. So I called them and they refunded part of the cost but not the shipping or installation costs! Unbelievable. Very poor customer service.

It seems the experience here depends heavily on timing. During the day, the staff is more helpful and approachable, but as closing time approaches, the energy shifts—they start signaling it’s time to leave. What’s driving this difference? Is it fatigue, policy, or something else?
I initially thought the negative experiences were one-offs, but I’ve noticed a pattern. The good news is that things seem to be improving, possibly thanks to feedback or new hires. If this is intentional, it’s a step in the right direction. How can this momentum continue so customers consistently leave with a positive impression?

Tool rental department is a joke. Reserved a trailer, as I have done many times this year. Apparently only this store follows corporate policy to validate with clear, vehicle registration, insurance and something about a PRO account needing to match the vehicle registration. Typically not an issue, but when your customers are contractors with fleet vehicles, this is Absolutely ridiculous. Will never rent from this location again.
No other rental company requires all of this information. Employee wasn’t very helpful and a little combative over the policies. Was able to call Sunbelt, reserve a trailer, drive thirty minutes and still get to my job site long before I would’ve been able to leave this store with the reserved equipment. Get it together.

Updated review. I had previously given two stars and vented about how annoyed I was about there being no employees to help and then along came Yani. Somehow to spite working retail on a mid December night she was helpful — even cheerful. She retrieved my out of season item from up stock and asked if she could help with anything else with a sincerity that made me embarrassed of my previously grouchy review. Then by the time I saw an open register staffed by a real live person I felt like the Grinch at the end of the movie.

When you arrive you're greeted by Karen at the front check out, who lacks basic manners and is very rude, If you ask for a department she says that she doesn't know. Like to say the Paint department is very helpful and knows a Homeowner's needs in basic repainting and does not play head games with you or give you a bad attitude like the front-end checkout. If you need great customer service better off going to the Lakeline Store. Karen off the block works at this location.

Waited for someone to help cut carpet for 15 minutes after tracking down a random employee they said they would call someone. Help never came and we left.

It is obvious that Home Depot is just interested in moving high markup products: their isles are crammed with seasonal junk like Halloween or Christmas stuff so that you can’t get a cart of lumber past it.

Got a Home Depot card and bought appliances and since moved to new house I tried to change address. Now I didn’t get a card at old or new address and no one can help me. Stay away from this fraud company. Every time I call they say wait for a security letter. It’s been over a month of opening account but none of this agents are of any use they all say we can’t do anything. All I am doing is changing my billing address to my delivery address. Why is it so hard? It’s not , this company is known for scamming people
